@FLYtheFLAG_uk Hello James, I believe you made a Facebook video saying you'd be up for a debate or a fight (quite why, I'm not sure tbh) so I thought I'd respond to you publicly. I don't typically fight older gentlemen as I don't wish to cause them great harm, had to do a lot of that on the doors when the older gents had one too many and these days, without being paid, I don't typically resort to violence. As for a debate, not overly sure it would be worth my time either, you seem to have made some wild assumptions about whether I'm working class and what I have achieved/created or not achieved/created, so a debate would be entirely in bad faith from your side, based on that evidence. Anyway, it would be prudent of you to not do either of those again, as it only serves to make you look foolish. All the best though, James.

Sport England has put its swimming pool guidance under review with immediate effect. Last week we highlighted the Councils that have told us they follow to the letter Sport England’s advice to install mixed-sex changing villages for swimmers. This week Sport England has posted a notice on its Swimming Pool guidance page stating that the Accessible and Inclusive Facilities and Swimming Pool Guidance is ‘under review’. Could the EHRC Code of Practice and @_ukactive guidelines for leisure centre operator stating that offering only mixed-sex changing facilities could discriminate against women and girls have concentrated minds further? Is @Sport_England finally waking up to the terrible damage it has caused with its blanket recommendation that ‘mixed-sex changing villages are the preferred option’ for new and refurbished swimming pools? Our Red Flag Campaign continues to highlight the dangers of mixed-sex changing rooms. The safest changing room is a single-sex changing room.

It honestly breaks my heart. My trans son is 18, has helped me with caring for his disabled sister as long as I can remember. Not only has my son gone through the hell of gender dysphoria, endless therapy & councilling sessions, hes broke as he is too anxious to go to work. :-(

Public swimming pools that ONLY provide mixed-sex changing without any option for single-sex changing could be guilty of direct or indirect sex discrimination against women and girls says UK Active, the trade body for the UK’s leisure and fitness industry. @_ukactive has just published its guidance for leisure industry managers and staff. The document which clearly explains how to provide services which comply with the Equality Act 2010 (and based on the EHRC Code of Practice published yesterday) states: ‘Mixed-sex change, if a sole option, may be discriminatory and the Code is direct on this point.’ ... ‘This applies to a facility that only offers mixed-sex village changes as a changing option.' This backs up the work WRN has been doing to highlight the advice given by @Sport_England in its design guidance on swimming pools. Countless new build and refurbishment projects have been built based on advice from the Sports Council that mixed-sex changing villages are the preferred option. They are in fact NOT a preferred option and could leave local Councils exposed to legal action on the basis of direct and indirect discrimination against women and girls. We look forward to Sport England explaining why it has recommended changing facilities that are unlawful and, as our several leisure centre reports have exposed, put women and children at greater risk of sexual assault.

Thousands of single-sex spaces in the UK, like changing rooms and toilets, should be used based on biological sex, according to new guidelines that come into place today from the Equalities and Human Rights Commission. The guidance says trans people should instead be offered a separate mixed-sex space. It follows a Supreme Court ruling last year that the definition of sex for the purposes of the Equality Act means biological sex - the sex of a person at birth, not the gender you identify with.
