I wrote a brief piece to acknowledge everybody who's contributed over the years, in my best attempt to mourn what's been lost.

Best part of interviewing players: getting them to draw Nessie
Got to talk with YanYa!

lol rip Google Docs autocorrect nerfed me by not accepted "YanYa" as spelled correctly
had to repost

Very excited that I got to talk with StayNaughty at LAN.

Had the opportunity to spend media day interviewing a few players at LAN, and first post going live is a write up of my conversation with Hakis. reddit.com/r/CompetitiveApex…
Absolutely loved all the Nessie drawings I got.

wait is there a reason @esports_RAGE isn't mentioned in the @PlayApexEsports Split 2 Playoffs info? Like is that a mistake??
ALT EA Split 2 Info graphic for "How To Watch" which mentions PlayApex, NiceWigg, Gree, Masanori, Assikun, and Restia.
Really happy to see a team travel to Oce and have it pay off. 🥳
More teams crossing the Mongolia/China/Oce subregions for events will def be good for the scene.

You’ve probably seen players, talent, and roster reporters QRT posts like this.
They’re making hundreds or even thousands a month doing it.
“Literally this needs to look organic,” wrote a Polymarket rep in the Discord where this is all organized.
So I wrote about it…
Spent a bunch of time making STS2 work on my phone so I could play over my lunch break at my day job
So of course since then l keep getting scheduled for lunch meetings 😔
Ended up personally missing this due to a medical thing but always grateful to my comods holding it down. o7
Love when we can coordinate fun events on the sub.

Honestly it's difficult to look at the current state of APAC/ANZ esports and not feel some bitterness and heartbreak over how the last few years have turned out. Without proper support for the scene some of the best portions of the region are just being suffocated by opportunists

Yeah so, we're about to enter the biggest 3 weeks of CS in Australian Counter-Strike history and could be all for naught.
The last 2-3 years I've invested easily over a quarter of a mill $ and then this shit happens. If nothing changes I can't do this anymore. GG
Confirmed: @TjPG0D & @hatz_csgo have joined Danish org Sashi, and thanks to @AnleleleCS's dual citizenship, the squad is now Asia VRS eligible.
The two Aussies will line up for Sashi this week, with the team joining the likes of BCGame and WW in making a late (and controversial) region switch.
Report: dfrag.gg/counterstrike/news/…
okay I'd have more allowance for orgs doing region jumps if I had any confidence they'd support the Asian scene longterm.
Sign-and-drop schemes directly related to Major qualing is just rulebook manipulation.
watching @esports_DiA and @1000EyesCasts on Celestial Cup is legit incredible apex casting. cannot beat the quality of the vibes
so last week i was asking myself what i'd do with my time after apac-south wrapped for the split
...anyway 25 hours of gameplay later i got my first Act 3 clear in slay the spire II without any hints or savescumming along the way
Nine games of APAC-S match point is so much of everything that's amazing about Apex. Nothing in esports hits like MP Finals.
Also, @ggLongShot doing the broadcast with @GENOMEgg and @laceysomerville together in-person made for fantastic energy.
As far as I know only the APAC regions have ever done in-person casts for Pro League; would love to have that back for Y7.
