Everything about what Mamdani has done since elected -- -- kind, effective government -- has made the "here comes Sharia law" attacks on El Sayed seem all more irrational.
Mayor Mamdani at the NYC Marathon today. He joined volunteers at the 13-mile mark in Long Island City and passed out water, high-fiving, hugging, and encouraging runners. Mamdani also wore a "faster government on my mind" hat to encourage runners and spectators to vote on the ballot propositions in Tuesday's election. All right, I tried to curate a fairly representative cross-section of 13 FLIPR maps for what might happen on Tuesday night. Warning: the last 3 or 4 are deliberately weird! Here's one that came up when the polls were in the 95th percentile of accuracy, however.
It is insane that anyone would choose ego-based, inter-party politics at the possible risk of a Republican controlled Senate and a continued forward march toward kleptocratic autocracy.
