Big milestone - we recently said goodbye to (now) Dr. Angel D'Oliviera, the first PhD student to graduate from our lab!👩🎓I always thought the Finnish PhD swords were very cool, so we got Angel an engraved sword (with her Mpro-TRMT1 structure!) to commemorate! A new lab tradition!

Sophie was in our lab for over 2 years, did really careful biochemistry and cell culture work on multiple projects, and will be the first undergrad to 'graduate' from our research lab! We'll miss her! 🥲🥲🥲 Good luck at Penn State Sophie!
This week we said farewell to our amazing undergrad Sophie Olson! Sophie did fantastic work in our lab and is graduating with a BS in Biochemistry! Congrats!🎉 Next up, Sophie will be killing it in the Molecular, Cellular, & Integrative Biosciences PhD program @PennState!
