Tonight, the American people sent a clear message — they want a politics that brings people together rather than divides them, and leaders who offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face.
These results were only possible because outstanding candidates stepped forward in every region of the country — including in areas once considered long shots. They came from different backgrounds and represented a range of political perspectives, but were united by shared values, a belief in public service, and a commitment to putting the people of their districts and states first.
We also owe a debt of gratitude to the thousands of election officials and volunteers from both parties who helped ensure a smooth election and carried out one of the most essential functions of our democracy.
While this administration has another two years in office, our job now is to roll up our sleeves, make changes wherever we have the power to do so, prevent further damage, and lay the groundwork for the future.

It’s hard to explain to folks who haven’t worked in politics what a weird and boring day Election Day actually is…
Our internet arrived on CDs and sounded like tiny robots gasping for air. We biked so much. We used liner notes to memorize our favorite songs. We know all the songs. We can fix your printer and spot AI slop. Texts only. No calls.

The last day of the 2026 season ❤️ Thanks for all the memories, we sure had a lot of fun 🥲 We'll see you back in 2027 but for now, tag the ones that made this year memorable🎢
We're four days out from the election, and my feed is a lot of people bickering about who will win the Indiana SOS race.
Perhaps they are missing the bigger picture: washingtonpost.com/opinions/…
If you need me, I’ll be slinking around @cedarpoint the rest of the day not making eye contact with all these Ohio State fans. 🏈 😔

Dear @katiezacharia — speaking as the world's leading expert on short White House tenures: turn off the news and go enjoy your family. In time you’ll realize that the Universe did you a major favor.
Not sure why this is causing so much consternation.
Fulfill requirements of law school, get JD.
Pass bar exam and related requirements (character/fitness), get admitted to practice as lawyer/attorney in admitting state.
I pay the State of Indiana around $100 a year to maintain my inactive status.
But I don't practice law.
I don't tell anyone I practiced law.
Because I haven't.
