Why has our CEO not responded to her emails? We don't claim to mentor youth, we DO! Grassroots organization with (bare feet) on the ground should ALWAYS beat large orgs with plush offices and overpaid execs. Consider B2C for generous donations. We promise the funds will not pay for fancy TV ads or six figure salaries! We keep overhead at bare minimum so OUR funds are utilized in direct service where it is needed most!

Those at @proverbs_226 are trying to break that cycle.

You should watch the movie “Break the Cycle” currently free on the PANDO app.
Drugs belong OUT of prisons. But families go broke on phone calls. I’ve paid $6K+ in 2 yrs. Strong family ties cut recidivism. Time for truly affordable communication! #FamiliesMatter

A reform like this would also let people earn Social Security credits while inside. My husband will be 66 when he’s released, 30 years of lost income (minus 85%) for 6 DVDs. He’s serving the time now & will struggle in retirement too. @IleanaGarciaUSA @JonMartinEsq @senpizzo

This shows the daily danger those at @FL_Corrections face. Need immediate pay raises, releases, faster AMUs, funding & facility fixes.

“The @FL_Corrections announced on Monday a $1,000 hiring bonus to new hires at several correctional institutions statewide, including a handful in the Panhandle.
FCC said that the lowered rate caps were creating “unacceptable risks to safety and security.” However, the FCC did not actually provide any examples of lowered price caps leading to safety This contradicts increased recidivism!

In 2024, the FCC established a cap of $0.06 or $0.07 per minute for inmate phone calls, depending on the size of the prison or jail.
Staying connected to family through phone calls a has been shown to decrease and reoffend when released

Good praying, good playing, good food and good medical makes a good prison.
In Florida we need good education, reasonable phone rates and reasonable travel for visitation as well.

Secretary Dixon not only has the needs mentioned. In the @KPMG_US immediate need was $2.2B. He received $100k recurring that didn’t all recur. Public Safety includes the Safety of Victims, Correctional Officers and Incarcerated. Everyone needs resources.
