The dominant football team Mount Carmel saw itself as, and that many others envisioned back in August, started to become a reality tonight in Wilmette.
The Caravan handed top-ranked Loyola its first loss of the season, limiting the Ramblers to 31 rushing yards.

Mount Carmel 38, Loyola 21.
What it means for the draw: Lincoln-Way East likely the top seed, Loyola slides to the three, Mount Carmel rockets all the way up to nine or 10.

Jordan Lynch has just been inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame!
A Mount Carmel alum and Northern Illinois legend, Lynch was a 2013 Heisman finalist and first-team All-American who shattered NCAA rushing records for a quarterback. After winning a Grey Cup with Edmonton, he returned home to coach Mount Carmel to five state championships. We’re proud to welcome him as a new member of the Hall of Fame! @Jordanlynch06
