On today's stock market crash:
As an investor, on days like today, you have to ask yourself one question: What fundamentally changed over the last 24 hours?
The shift in the fundamental backdrop cannot be attributed solely to the Midterm Election results; markets had already largely priced in the outcome.
So, what changed between yesterday and today? What is the fundamental reason for today's decline?
One of the most likely catalysts is growing concern about a potential "ban" on AI, or at the very least, severe regulation of the industry.
Over the last 24 hours, Democratic lawmakers have publicly called for restrictions on advanced AI development, including an outright "ban on artificial superintelligence."
Frankly, an outright ban will not happen.
Such a ban, if even possible to enforce, would effectively mean the US surrendering its position in the global AI race to China.
Does this mean AI is "over" or today's stock market crash marks "the end?" Absolutely not.
Rather, we believe we are witnessing a sudden shift in sentiment colliding with excessive levels of leverage, potentially triggering forced liquidations by several major institutional investors.
Therefore, today's downturn is more technical than fundamental. This is not to discount the concerns around regulation, they are legitimate. But price action right now does not look orderly or rational.
We are in the midst of the biggest technological revolution in human history.
Zoom out and remain calm.

🚨 WOW. Gov. Ron DeSantis is GOING OFF right now post-blue tsunami:
"I see the ad, 'so and so voted against releasing the Epstein Files.' I'm like, that's a bad vote. We ran as Republicans saying we need to do that. And you have people in Congress voting against release when the Attorney General said she had all the all this horrific stuff on her desk and that people are gonna be held accountable?!"
"It's untenable when you have people going in trading stocks! I've never traded stocks since I've been in elected office. How do you have no investment acumen, and then all of a sudden get elected to Congress, and then you're outperforming Warren Buffett?"
"I saw how they were running and it was a rejection of what was going on in DC."

Just so we all understand how rare what happened in Tampa today. The @Buccaneers are the 1st team since 1974 to win a game without completing a pass..but let’s go deeper: Tampa has won 2 straight games by double digits with all of 62 passing yards. That’s the fewest passing yards in 2 games won by double digits since the 1942 Steelers

Your death will come on an ordinary day, in the middle of unfinished plans, and the world will continue without you. So enjoy the ordinary moments. Drop the bitterness. Let go of what you can’t control. Love yourself while you’re still here. Stop postponing joy for some perfect future. One day, something will happen for the last time and you won’t know it. Be present. Life is happening now.

Every time you say, “It’s a free country” remember this: You got a number when you were born, the bank owns your shit and you better follow the rules someone else made up or you’ll be put in a cage. You know… freedom

Junior Caminero has his first walk-off hit in thunderous fashion.
Reaches 40 HR and sends the Tampa Bay Rays to the postseason.

In 2008, I walked into a Detroit Tigers clubhouse loaded with talent.
Miguel Cabrera.
Pudge Rodriguez.
Gary Sheffield.
Justin Verlander.
We were one of the preseason favorites to win the World Series.
We didn’t even make the playoffs.
That offseason, I was traded to Tampa Bay.
The Rays had just gone from worst to first in the AL East and reached the World Series.
Far less hype. Far fewer household names.
But they had something different.
Young players who were hungry.
Established guys like Carl Crawford and Carlos Peña who set the standard.
Guys who knew their roles.
Guys who played for each other.
And a clubhouse that expected to win.
That experience taught me something I’ve never forgotten:
Talent gives you a chance to win. It doesn’t make you a winning team.
At the highest level, everybody has talent.
The separator is what happens around it:
Standards.
Accountability.
Effort.
Trust.
Grit.
And people willing to put the team ahead of themselves.
Names win headlines. Teams win championships.

Wow this is your takeaway on this momentous day?
Sounds like you don’t believe it will work?
Shocking development! And you will be wrong AGAIN!
Perhaps you don’t even realize how close we were to losing this team. A NO vote and Manfred was allowing the @Rays to finally look elsewhere. Another city would have showered them with 2X the public funding.
And then you would’ve finally been right. But alas, despite your best efforts, the good guys prevailed. The Builders, the Visionaries! The Bold leaders won the day!
The pessimists, the nay sayers, the pearl clutchers, who despise successful people who dream big, you lost.
It’s a great day in Tampa Bay!
