Spent today on Mynydd Garnclochdy Common with James Bourne and Sara Warman, seeing the scale of destruction left by the wildfire. The fire damage is severe — and the excavated fire breaks have left deep scars across the landscape. Their business now faces real challenges.
We need proper support and protection for the people who rely on this land. This isn’t just a fire scene; it’s a reminder of how fragile our rural communities and landscapes are.#wildfires @NFUCymru @WGRural

Were you watching @SkyNews earlier? NFU President Tom Bradshaw's (@ProagriLtd) speech to the farmer rally in Westminster was aired live, where he called for the government to #StopTheFamilyFarmTax.

Thank you to @NFUtweets President @ProagriLtd for his two day visit to South Wales.
During his visit, Tom spoke at two of our county conferences, he met some next generation members, visited an agricultural college and attended farm visits with local members.

Dog attacks on #livestock are devastating. Today @GPRuralCrime provided the Usk @NFUCymru office with DNA kits as part of a project in the @gwentpolice area, which will help towards developing a process for identifying dogs that attack sheep.

There is a shadow being cast over these wellies at the Senedd today. Representing the 5500 farm jobs that will go as a result of the SFS scheme. @WelshGovernment please listen to farmers concerns and work with us to develop a scheme that will work. @NFUCymru @SeneddCymru

It’s #FarmSafetyWeek & Stuart, beef farmer from Monmouthshire, gave me a message to pass on to all the farmers out there ⬇️
Sadly Stuart’s father suffered a head injury on an ATV in 2008. His dad took 9 years to die from those injuries 😔
Look after yourselves out there – at Wales, United Kingdom
