Dolores Huerta changed the lives of generations of San Franciscans and people across the country. She embodied service, dedicating her life to fighting for farmworkers’ rights, advancing civil rights, and standing up for working families.
Throughout her life, she showed incredible courage, speaking out about her own experiences and standing in solidarity with other women. Her legacy will continue to inspire others—including me—and she will be deeply missed in San Francisco.

The gas leak has been shut off by Pacific Gas & Electric. Thank you to @PGE4Me for their fast response and excellent work getting this controlled.
Next, crews will assess the damage to the building. There were no significant injuries.
The only injuries were the original two from the collision: two adults who were evaluated by paramedics and did not require hospitalization.
The shelter in place remains in effect. We will notify you when it is lifted.
