Crime. Chaos. Failed leadership. New Yorkers have had enough. Public safety is not optional. It’s time for accountability, action, and real change. Watch our new ad on the epidemic of homelessness gripping New York under Letitia James.

"My father and I were walking out of the Stadium, and "Mudcat" Grant was coming right toward us. He was wearing a nice dark suit. He carried a suitcase in one hand, a garment bag in the other, and had a third bag hanging from his shoulder. "That's Mudcat Grant," my Dad said. "Go ask him for an autograph." I hesitated for a moment. I didn't know how to ask for an autograph. My father handed me the Indians scorecard, they were ten-cent scorecards back then, no five-dollar glossy programs. Then he gave me a pen. "Go ahead," he said. "Go ask Mudcat to sign." I was eight years old. As I took a couple of steps in his direction, Mudcat stopped, put down all of his bags, and said: "How you doing, little man?" I knew who Mudcat was, and I knew he was a good pitcher. I also was too scared to say a word. "Want me to sign that for you?" he asked, taking the scorecard out of my hand. "What's your name?" he asked. I told him, in a whisper. He signed the program: "To Terry, best wishes, Mudcat Grant." I whispered a thank you." Terry Pluto. The Cleveland Indians then traded Mudcat Grant to the Twins for George Banks and Lee Stange. "A year later he was 21-7, and he was a World Series hero, winning two games and hitting a three-run homer." Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Mudcat Grant.

Cooper Pratt was a high school senior hoping to be a first-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft. Instead, 181 players were chosen before the Milwaukee Brewers selected Pratt in the sixth round. Disappointed, Pratt considered going to college and was ready to enroll at Ole Miss. Eleven days after being drafted, he signed with the Brewers. In 2024, he was the Brewers' 10th-ranked prospect. In 2025, he was their 3rd-ranked prospect. In the 2026 Fall Classic, he hit .421 with 1 HR and 7 RBI and helped the Brewers win their first World Series championship.

Time for some Red Baron Pizza!
🤖 Made with AI
LOVE IT!!! Red Baron just publicly stood behind Walter, the worker America rallied around today. Their words… "He's still here. He's got a fan club. Including us." Fans pushed his fundraiser past $340K, and Higgsfield AI chipped in $30,000. Hard work still wins in this country. I'm buying a Red Baron tonight!

"Baseball will miss him. They missed him because he didn't have as long a career as everybody would have liked. It's just horrible. He did embrace life. I remember him trying to play golf when he couldn't play golf, and enjoying every minute of it." Jim Palmer on Mark Fidrych. "The Bird swooped down out of nowhere in 1976, stole the game of baseball away from the mercenaries, who considered it merely business, and gave it back to the fans." "The Bird: The Life and Legacy of Mark Fidrych." Doug Wilson. Around 2:30 pm on April 13th, 2009, a family friend found Mark Fidrych pinned beneath his ten-wheel dump truck at his Northborough, MA farm. "The Bird" was dead. The State Medical Examiner ruled the death an accident, stating he appeared to have been working on the truck when his clothes became tangled in the truck’s power takeoff shaft.
