The vote to ratify RadixDAO's governance framework, its Charter and 20 policies, has cleared both of its thresholds with five days still to run. It needed 10% of eligible voting power to take part, 1,351m radix:native, and 66% of decisive votes in favour. By this evening 163 accounts had voted 1,428m XRD for and none against.
Ratification is the first of four steps. The other three: the DAO's company, Radix DAO LLC, is formed in the Marshall Islands; holders elect a permanent Radix Accountability Council; and a final Activation Vote makes community decisions binding on the company. Until then, other votes are advisory.

This is the hardest part of the marathon: the interminable last few miles. Radix has had so many pivots and disappointments that it's almost impossible to believe that the future will be any different. At such a time it doesn't pay to be emotional. Use your rational mind, training, discipline and assess the situation dispassionately: global finance needs horizontal, sharded scaling. Anything less is 'a kite dancing in a hurricane', which is why, perhaps, the odyssey to get to this point has been so severe. But Radix has the upgrade path, the oh-so-hard-fought distribution, no VCs, unmatched decentralization, and a retardigrade community that will never quit. Actung baby.

That's exactly why some alternative L1s like @radixdlt will take the spotlight in the future, if they play their cards right. Their UX is 10x more intuitive and secure than what we know from EVM chains. (e.g. there is no more blind signing on Radix)

• 269k TPS in an internal test - a new record
• Test scripts rewritten to multi-threading, making better use of fewer but stronger nodes on AWS
• First time pushing beyond 40 shards, opening the path toward ~500k TPS
The move from Hetzner to AWS wasn’t planned and caused some delays, but a lot of ground was covered just in the last week.
Next step: a new private test with a larger group of nodes to confirm this setup.

Hyperscale is back! 269k TPS during an internal test. A new record!
Rewriting the test scripts to multi-threading, to make use of fewer but more powerful nodes sending transactions, seems to be a good approach on AWS.
This is also the first time we moved beyond 40 shards, which opens the road to 500k TPS 🫡
