Please Read: @BovadaOfficial STOLE $4,000 FROM ME ‼️ It took them 8 DAYS of investigating to claim I violated / abused the refer-a-friend program which I’ll show in the email below.  The claim itself is contradictory. I have a Twitter account where I post bets (mostly tennis) to 6k followers not to mention my discord which has had hundreds of members for 5+ years. Over the course of that time I’ve referred plenty of people to the site and never ran into trouble. This last month a few people from my discord decided to use my code. This is standard nowadays, mostly seen with Kalshi / Polymarket or other prediction markets where you see cappers promote their codes. These people all made qualifying deposits and I received / completed the bonuses from it. However, as you see in the email their main claim is opening accounts solely for the purpose of retaining a bonus or usage of VPNs. They’re saying they were unable to validate each players' individuality. Keep in mind I myself did not create any new accounts and all the accounts who used my code were in fact validated and allowed to be created in the first place. But somehow I’m the one who gets punished for it?🤨 On Sunday Oct 4th I attempted to withdraw $1,250 from the account. Over 24 hours later that request was denied and my account was subsequently disabled and under investigation. They refused to give any information as to why or when I would receive an update.  The weirdest part of this is I had literally just withdrew $1,000 on Sep 28th using the same exact method that just failed.  So I passed all their review checks then but then a week later I was somehow in violation of all these different things.  So all of a sudden my account is disabled and under review. Again, I am not associated with these new accounts in any way either.  And for some crazy reason not only did they deny my withdrawal, they decided to confiscate the entire balance of the account and punish me for *drumroll please*  BRINGING CUSTOMERS TO THEIR PLATFORM! 😁 I have no words for how insane this is. In the email they claim all winnings from the referral program would be confiscated. So they’re claiming that I somehow got $4000 worth in referring just a few people. Of course I got a decent amount from it but even then you can’t just withdrawal that money. You still have to successfully bet each time with a 10x rollover which is standard, but to confuse that with the rest of my balance that I’ve been betting for months makes no sense. I have over $50,000 wagered in the last month and proof of the net activity that goes to the last 31 days and was already considered legitimate by their own review system as shown with the successful withdrawal on Sep 28th. And at that point there was still thousands of dollars in the account (after the withdrawal). Yet all that money was confiscated.  Of course I benefited from referring people but to act like I’m abusing the refer-a-friend program for a couple hundred dollars every time is quite the claim. I offer this refer a friend to people because it benefits everyone involved (INCLUDING MOSTLY BOVADA WHICH IS WHY THEY OFFER IT)!!! I mean seriously why even have a refer-a-friend program? If I were to have lost that money they of course wouldn’t blink an eye. It is only because I successfully made money that it was all of a sudden a problem for them.  And if they really wanted to go that far and go for this absurd claim, fine. Take the refer-a-friend money back but to take the entire balance is just ludicrous.  And if they’re doing to this to me (someone with an active social media following and probably their biggest advocate (at least in the tennis betting world) I can’t even begin to imagine how they’re treating their everyday customers.  Please spread awareness to this situation and tag @BovadaOfficial in the comments to make sure they see this and we get this situation fixed not just for me but everyone they try to do this to in the future…🤦‍♂️
