The biggest feelings are often those we can’t see. Our Turn 2 Us program, with support from NewYork-Presbyterian, is hosting professional development workshops to help educators & caregivers recognize signs of internalizing behaviors & understand when a student may be struggling.
The NY Leaders kicked off a new program year with two days of connection, collaboration & community! Day one focused on setting goals, while day two brought the Leaders to NYC Parks’ Fall Fest, where they helped with event setup, arts & crafts, pumpkin picking, & more.
From strengthening relationships to giving back to their community, #Turn2’s Leaders are ready to make a difference all year long!
NY Jeter’s Leader alumna Oumou and KZ Jeter's Leader alumnus Gavin joined @AllRiseOfficial for a special webinar, “Leadership in the Classroom.” They shared advice on overcoming challenges, what motivates them & the importance of building trust.
We continue to be inspired by their passion for leadership. We’re grateful to alumni like Oumou and Gavin for continuing to show up & make a difference. Thank you to @allriseofficial for highlighting our Leaders and empowering young people! #Turn2 #JetersLeaders
James O’Rourke, a member of Turn 2’s New York Resource Council, and his daughter Grace are putting the finishing touches on their marathon training as they prepare to tackle 26.2 miles together at the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon.
2: They’re not just getting their miles in. They’re also helping Team Turn 2 get closer to its $30,000 fundraising goal to empower youth.

As we prepare for the 2026 Derek Jeter Invitational presented by @hbomax, we’re looking back at some of the special messages from supporters who joined us at last year’s event.
We can’t wait to celebrate 30 years of #Turn2 at @BahaMarResorts! bit.ly/4BbWZT5

The final miles of training are here! With the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon just around the corner, Rafael Castillo, NY Jeter’s Leaders Program Coordinator, is putting in the work to get ready for race day while helping Team Turn 2 close in on its $30,000 fundraising goal.
As a first-time dad, Rafael is especially motivated by the opportunity to help the next generation build successful futures. Now, as he enters the final stretch of marathon prep, every donation brings Team Turn 2 closer to its goal.

Through #Turn2’s partnership with @MonroeUniv, #JetersLeaders gain access to scholarships, mentorship & college-readiness support as they prepare for their next chapter, while Monroe students gain valuable hands-on experience to put their skills into action.
Monroe’s Entertainment Media Program recently brought that partnership to life by producing a video highlighting our graduating class of Jeter’s Leaders. We’re proud to celebrate the 2026 graduates & the students who helped tell their stories. Watch here: bit.ly/4BbWZT5
On #DayoftheGirl, we’re celebrating the girls who are dreaming big, finding their voices & building their futures. Through social impact, education & leadership opportunities, #Turn2 is proud to help young people see what’s possible and take the next step toward their goals.
Today, on #NationalHeroDay, we’re celebrating the people who inspire us to dream bigger and give back. For @derekjeter, Dave Winfield was one of those people.
A role model on & off the field, Dave’s example inspired Derek to create #Turn2 and build a Foundation dedicated to helping young people reach their full potential. We’re grateful for the heroes who lead by example & remind us of the difference we can make in the lives of others.
The Kalamazoo #JetersLeaders returned to support the @afspnational's Out of the Darkness Walk, helping with event setup & registration, encouraging participants along the trail, & assisting at water and snack stations.
At the finish line, they helped welcome walkers & create a supportive atmosphere. Supporting initiatives like this is an important part of #Turn2’s commitment to helping young people build healthy lifestyles, prioritize mental well-being & advocate for positive mental health.
