I wouldn’t say every but definitely most. I’ve never seen the leaders of a country be so unpatriotic. Almost everyone is trying to extract as much as they can. Rarely anyone is actually trying to address the fundamental issues plaguing this country. I can’t believe it’s happening.
America doesn’t have a major immigration problem (CATO Institute), America has a CORRUPTION and embezzlement of the taxpayer’s dollars.
Great work by @kare11 , you won’t see actual news on @CNN @FOX @CBS. Instead, it’s entertainment choreographed “debate” parapalooza.

KARE 11 is still operating independently. If this merger goes through, it’s unlikely you’ll ever see this type of investigative news.

Two flights from El Salvador have already landed today and two more are scheduled. There could easily be some 2,000 troops on the ground by the end of the day — though it's possible these flights are bringing additional equipment instead. Still, the expectation is at least 3,000 troops will eventually deploy. nitter.cf/JakobJohnston/status/2…
With 1,300 Salvadoran troops reportedly already on the ground, at least two more chartered flights from El Salvador are scheduled to arrive in Haiti today. The numbers are likely to continue to grow.
The deployment is happening outside the GSF framework, tho how logistics are being funded remains a big question. Is the UN support office, authorized to support the GSF, now backing a bilateral deployment? Is Washington footing the bill?

One of two Honduran charter airplanes that has been ferrying troops from El Salvador to Haiti over the last week. The other charter company involved is Ecuador-based. Still unclear who is paying for all this ...

🇭🇹 🇸🇻 Salvadoran troops have been flown into Haiti over the past week on two private charter planes, one operated by a Honduran company and the other by an Ecuador-based firm, according to Haiti researcher Jake Johnston, who shared video of soldiers disembarking. Who is paying for the flights remains unclear.
El Salvador now has "more than two thousand soldiers" deployed in Haiti, its Foreign Ministry said Wednesday after President Nayib Bukele spoke with Haiti’s appointed Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé. It called the search for four missing air force technicians "a large-scale operation backed by various countries and international organizations," without naming them. It also said Bukele had discussed "the permanence of the mission" and pledged to keep helping fight Haiti's gangs.
The two governments framed the deployment differently. Haiti's statement places it "within the framework" of the UN-backed Gang Suppression Force and stresses "respect for the authority of the Haitian state." El Salvador's doesn't mention the force at all. Johnston says the deployment is "clearly" a longer-term one "well beyond 'search and rescue.'"

Your whole idea of buying every dip through ETF and chill is a 13-year illusion.
100 years of S&P 500 real returns, split into regimes:
– 1928-1948: 0.6% a year
– 1949-1968: 12.7%
– 1969-1984: 0.5%
– 1985-1999: 15.1%
– 2000-2012: -0.8%
– 2013-2025: 11.8%
Notice the rhythm. A golden era, then a dead one.
Feast, famine, feast, famine.
Not one regime in a century simply continued.
The long-term average of 7% real that everyone plans with? Almost no generation actually experienced it. You got 12%, or you got zero.
The average is a fiction made of two extremes.
Everyone who started investing after 2009 has only known the feast. Buy the dip worked every single time. Not because it's a law. Because you happened to live inside the blue bar.
But the current run is already as long and as rich as the two golden eras before it. And every one of them ended the same way: not with a warning, with a decade.
Mean reversion doesn't announce itself. It just stops paying.
The next 0.5% decade will feel impossible right up until it starts. It always has.
No-bid contracts breed corruption and should be outlawed. It’s completely undemocratic and moreover stunts the advancement of better technologies. Isn’t the belief “competition breeds innovation” ?
Mamdani admin now backing away from a $750k no-bid contract w/ Israeli surveillance firm (after a Daily News report).
“It did not meet the criteria for a sole source procurement, so we are moving to an open, competitive procurement process” PD spox sez

Everyone needs to know what actually happened in Serbia.
Instead of students just protest against their government, the students organized themselves into a student list and ran in elections against their government—and they have just won.
Dear Serbia, congratulations on your victory; you have just opened a new door in protesting. This is history

“a bursting AI bubble would be a much bigger shock to the economy than the bursting IT bubble at the end of the 1990s that brought us to the edge of a liquidity trap. Yet the Fed has much less room to cut rates now than it did then: the current Fed funds rate is only 4 percent. So if huge AI spending is a bubble, and that bubble bursts, I can’t see how the U.S. can avoid plunging into a liquidity trap — a situation in which the Fed simply lacks the tools to get us out of a slump. If this should happen, the economy is likely to remain depressed for years.”

I haven't seen anyone tracking all of the alleged (or open) Trump corruption, self-dealing, and quid pro quos in one place. For the last 15 months, I've been tracking every single tip+story I can find and organizing it. Today, I published a 6,000 word piece with every example.

DSA Democrats being more loyal to Democrats than actual Democrats is kinda hilarious and on brand tbh
It’s a good cop vs bad cop routine to distract citizens from realizing they agree on 75% of issues and hate both major parties.
Hilary doesn’t feel this way about 3rd parties. If the goal was a healthy democracy, the DNC wouldn’t be attacking and suing 3rd parties to bankrupt them. (Same tactic Trump uses to silence the truth)
Translation:
this dark money group sees Haley Stevens (DNC backed) and Susan Collins (GOP) as belonging to the same party.

WE WON! My documentary REMOVED: Black Erasure In Boston won the BEST DOCUMENTARY AWARD from Gary International Film Festival! This is the 2nd award for REMOVED! 🥳
It’s not the training. It’s an intentional lack of oversight and recruiting of large percentage of racist individuals who frankly belong in rehabilitation or prison themselves.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers reportedly had a text thread competing to pull over the most Black drivers, while using racial slurs in discussions about force against Black residents. More than half a dozen officers have reportedly been recommended for termination or quit.
A badge should NEVER be a license for discrimination! These allegations call into question traffic stops and use-of-force incidents involving these officers!
