Had a really good time working on this D'ICON shoot. We got to experiment with different outfits, expressions, and a few concepts that felt a little different from what I usually do. I always enjoy projects where I get to explore something new without taking myself too seriously.
The funny thing about magazine shoots is that the final pictures always look so composed, but there's usually a lot of laughing, outfit changes, and random conversations happening between frames.
There's always that one friend who refuses to put the camera down. You could be halfway through a meal, reaching for your drink, or simply minding your business, and suddenly there's a whole photoshoot happening. Pretty sure I've more pictures than actual memories of what we ate.
If there's one thing I've come to appreciate, it's people who make an effort without making a big deal out of it. The ones who remember little details, include me in their plans, and check in just because they thought of me.
