Earlier today the NYS Board of Elections invalidated our signature petitions to enter the June 25 Republican primary, thus bringing our campaign for the NY-03 open seat to a close.
We are disappointed in the result and the actions of the @NassauNYGOP and their hand-picked candidate, @TheMikeLiPetri as they’ve gone to great lengths to eliminate competing candidates in #NY03. Simply put: nominating a candidate ahead of an open seat primary and then relying upon technicalities and vague, outdated petition forms to eliminate valid signatures of registered NY-03 Republicans denies legitimate candidates a fair and leveled playing field.
Just as disappointed and aggrieved are #NY03 Republican taxpayers, who are denied an opportunity to choose their representative, effectively being told that their votes don’t matter. Yes, at a time when our party desperately needs unity, the actions by the Nassau County GOP have instead isolated and disenfranchised large portions of NY-03 Republicans. This not only affects Republican taxpayers but also hurts their candidate, Mr. LiPetri, as he won’t be subject to scrutiny or take part in any vigorous debate until he competes against Tom Suozzi in November.
On the heels of the Santos and special-election embarrassments, these actions show how out of touch the Nassau County GOP is with the constituents they are supposed to serve. Indeed, instead of shepherding a robust and transparent primary they have disrespected these constituents as well as the four qualified candidates who seek to run against Mr. LiPetri.
As for me, the next move is to be determined but rest assured that, in some shape or form, I am committed to serving the dedicated citizens of District-03.
Finally, to my many supporters and volunteers, I say “Thank you.” I begin with my wife of 35 years, Jeanine, for her commitment and support throughout our life together as well as this tough campaign. It was an enjoyable – and educational – process and you can bet that, if there is a next time around for me, I will be ready.

The majority of Catholics paid no attention to the article. Our response is driven by @tedcruz repost & comment. Cruz is positioning for a primary w/ @VP or @marcorubio & probably believes that making the race P’s vs C’s plays in his favor. No psyop, just ugly DC antics.
Stay in your religious lane Senator. This article breathes “Dumb Catholics” on and between the lines. You and @GovMikeHuckabee bombed in your interviews with @TuckerCarlson . Just move on, stop the gaslighting with this conspiracy theory.
READ every word of this.
It's the best & most comprehensive explanation of what we're fighting. @DefiyantlyFree

Their goal here is twofold: censor a strong strong opponent and scare the masses so we self-censor our views and speech. They will fail on both fronts.

Excellent post. @RepTomSuozzi cavalier response is some ways worse than his actions. Washington DC has worn the man down. He is running on empty and has lost the will to serve the citizens of #NY03

Whales have started dying again. This finback washed ashore in Barnegat Light, NJ.
EMPIRE WIND, a subsidiary of Equinor and the Kingdom of Norway, has recently been allowed by a federal judge to resume industrial construction activities in waters off New Jersey and New York.
In years past, organizations such as Greenpeace, Sierra Club, Conservation Voters, and National Audubon Society would have filed lawsuits to halt large-scale industrial development in the ocean. They would never have stood for massive, noisy, dirty construction projects in the ocean and would have done anything and everything it took to stop them—including sending in boats to harass and interfere with construction activities.
Today, however, those groups have remained silent—despite concerns about potential environmental impacts. Money talks, and they get millions from the offshore wind industry to look the other way and pretend it’s all about fixing the “climate crisis.”

1. The 6th Amendment provides defendants the right to a speedy trial. Additional ICE attorneys better ensures this will happen. Thus protecting citizens on Long Island. 2. Please share any evidence you have to substantiate your claim that Long Island does not need a sweeping deportation crackdown. 3. Obstructing the legal process of deporting illegal aliens comes in many forms. In Minneapolis those opposing deportation used road blocks and other well coordinated actions funded by outside sources. It’s reasonable to believe that obstruction tactics on Long Island will take place in legal proceedings therefore the need for more attorneys. What say you @TheMikeLiPetri
As a 30+ yr resident of Nassau County I say with great confidence that #NYState would be well served with @NassauExec as our Governor. He has the skill set and the character. #Blakeman For NY Governor!
"A straight-shooting, practical leader who puts truth and principle ahead of political convenience."
That's @NassauExec Bruce Blakeman - the next Governor of the State of New York.

This action by @GovPritzker sets a new precedent that will undoubtedly be replicated by other blue state governors. Another reason why New York needs @NassauExec Bruce Blakeman as our next Governor.
It's true.
It automatically seals ADULT nonviolent criminal records. This would mean that if you've been convicted of vehicle theft... it's sealed. Convicted of drug dealing or drug possesion? Sealed. Convicted of burglary? Sealed. Gun possession (aka not actually firing or using the gun)? Sealed. DUI? Sealed.
A nice compliment to the SAFE-T Act.
Can't hold felons. Can't arrest them. And even when arrested, tried, convicted...you can't see if they have a criminal background if it's "nonviolent."
Illinois Democrats consistently spend their entire time looking for ways to aid, enable and protect legitimate, bonafide criminals while simultaneously looking for ways to f*ck working people.
It's honestly exhausting.

He lives in a socialist fantasy-world; has never held a real job & knows little about the laws which protect the basic freedoms given to us by God. His self aggrandized behavior is more akin to a king than a public servant & he believes NYC is his fiefdom.

Another “gotcha” brought to you by the @LIRR . They no longer offer the 10-Trip Ticket. For folks like myself who WFH 1 or 2 days per week, the cost for 10 trips has gone up $10, or 8%. Plus the window for when tickets expire is shorter. If my math is wrong please explain.
