It's crazy how much the prop space has changed over the last few years. I remember when I first started the 2 big guns were @Topstep and @ApexTradeFund. Slowly the industry grew and now there are more props than you can count.
I don't know that it's getting better, though. Back then you could only have 3 @Topstep accounts, but payouts were uncapped. Yes, we had activation fees, but we also got some insane flash sales like $50k combines for $4.
Those were the days.

A prop firm in 2026: "ok fine. barely any rules, claim profit whenever you want"
Traders: "too good to be true, scam"
Ya’ll don't want a prop firm, you want your mom to fund the account and tell you you're a great trader even after you blow it 😭
FOMC day!!! Looking for it to push us up into the weekly gap. Then, personally, I think the bottom falls out. Either they raise rates (not expected) or Warsh comes out hawkish and indices die.
Remember when FTT’s response to scam allegations was that they “never missed a payout”, until they did? If that’s your justification for supporting a prop as “not a scam”, it’s thin. Please make sure to do your due diligence. If they haven’t been around for long or you’re unsure about them, know going into it you might not get paid.

I bought 2 accounts here on Thursday wanted to test them out and verify they pay. I purchased 2 accounts with Static drawdown, no daily loss limit, 95% split and $100 required to withdraw.
I submitted my payout request Friday afternoon.
They denied my $180 ish payout a few hours later because they implemented retroactive rule changes.
Now
A daily loss limit has been implemented.
Profit split was reduced to 85%
$250 is now required (after the split) to withdraw.
This is some real bait and switch rug pull bullshit right here. I am not alone this has happened to others as well so I do not recommend this one 💯
