Is your life going past so fast too?😉🎼🎹

Just trying out this delightful little Rushworth & Dreaper (designed by my much-missed old friend & music mentor, George Pratt) before the gig....playing something completely different to the actual concert!!

If the audiences only enjoy my concerts 1/2 as much as I do giving them, they’ll still be having a great time! Thanks to Kerry & the arts team @KeeleUniversity 🙏

Such an enjoyable gig last night @KeeleUniversity 🙏

Very lovely freshly tuned 9ft Steinway in the ‘office’ tonight!🙏🎹

Absolutely lovely to be back @KeeleUniversity for this…hopefully I’m not too ‘formidable’!😂🙏

My old stomping ground at Dimmingsdale looking gorgeous & autumnal.

Back in the Clockhouse studio, @KeeleUniversity where it all started with the FairlightCMI for me!🙏

Very much looking forward to my trip up to @KeeleUniversity next week, catching up with old friends as well as concert etc.

My life as a professional composer for over 40 years has been a total joy, but the feedback I get from audiences at my live performances is really heartwarming, and for me, the icing on the cake!🙏

It was getting aggressively autumnal just outside my house earlier...love it!

Well, it is Liszt's birthday.🙏🎹

Ahead of my return to @KeeleUniversity to give a concert & masterclass next week, in the Clockhouse Studio recalling my incredible good fortune to work with the FairlightCMI there. Forever indebted to Tim Souter & the lovely Cliff Bradbury...my tech guy for many years!

I've been playing the piano again this evening, not really practice, just for the fun of it. 62 years, 10's of thousands of hours...my job really, and yet it's still one of the most joyful things I do each day! Thanks for this wonderful gift!🙏

Anyone out there?

Now only just over a week to go! Stocking up on garlic, crucifixes, stakes and natural sunlight bulbs!!🧛‍♂️😱

Back in my home woods today and that wonderful aroma of earthy decay signifies we are now well into fantastic fungi season!🍄‍🟫

Whenever asked to adjudicate, my first thought :who am I to judge others’? But I guess over 50yrs experience making music to enhance visuals gives weight to mho.🤷 It was an honour to see/hear such inventive & imaginative work..all winners really!👏🙏 youtu.be/Xla7yjevAGI?si=OMhT…

Don’t you just love X!😂🤦‍♂️
