Transition isn’t a footrace. It’s a counting problem.
Dick DeVenzio said it in STUFF Good Players Should Know: "When you have more players than they do, you don’t need a fancy play. You just need to give the ball to the player who is unguarded."
The best guards know their numbers before they get there. They ask three questions:
Who’s with me?
Who’s against me?
Who’s up next, the players behind me?
The first two tell you the numbers. The third tells you the pace. Speed up to keep an advantage, or slow down a hair to let a trailing teammate add to it.
Count before you commit.
Honestly how much money does the bank need man. How are ppl supposed to survive with mortgages always going up. This is insane.

Most players won’t play professionally, and that was never the point. Basketball is the training ground, not the destination.
Hours in the gym quietly teach you to take feedback without falling apart, perform when things are uncomfortable, read a situation quickly, and win and lose without letting either define you. Players also learn to keep going when progress is slow, to be useful inside something that isn’t about them, and to belong to something bigger than themselves.
None of it shows up in the box score, but all of it shows up for the next sixty years. Those skills only grow if the player stays in the game long enough for them to take hold, and that’s why the adults matter so much. Our job is to teach the game well and to make sure they’re still in the gym next season.

Young players have a distorted view of D1 basketball. It’s not just dribbling around cones or working on your jumper. It’s about playing hard, being physical, tough and competitive. Skill matters, but grassroots basketball doesn’t emphasize the other stuff nearly enough.

If you not aligned with @MrYeahIKnow vision you can't be apart of @TeamCPSA staff we got zero time for assistant coaches with sneaky agendas.

This is a tremendous point from Wake Forest Head Coach, Steve Forbes
Don’t take any moment for granted and make every day count

The initial report was that the car they were in was stolen but it turned out that was a lie. The car was owned by his family.
Toronto police broke protocol they didn't contact OPP or Peel Police they went rogue and murdered a young a man
They followed them in an unmarked car, rammed his car with guns out. Then killed him for trying to escape a scary situation
