Texas was not Red; it’s not Blue now, it’s Hispanic.
Hispanics embraced Republicans. Republicans never embraced us back.
As a result:
Starr County — 97% Hispanic, carried by Ted Cruz just two years ago — swung harder than any of Texas's 254 counties. Democratic turnout in the Rio Grande Valley doubled.
And look at who's going to Austin and Washington:
🔹 Gina Hinojosa — Governor of Texas. First Latina. First Democrat in 32 years.
🔹 Bobby Pulido — flipped TX-15 from Monica De La Cruz.
🔹 Johnny Garcia — won TX-35, a district the GOP redrew specifically to take it.
🔹 Katy Padilla Stout — flipped TX-23, the border district from San Antonio to El Paso.
🔹 Henry Cuellar — reelected in Laredo by more than 2 to 1.
🔹 Vicente Gonzalez — reelected in the Valley. Sixth term.
🔹 Veronica Escobar — reelected in El Paso with 71%.
In 2024, Hispanics gave Republicans the biggest opening they've had in a generation. Two years of being treated like a problem instead of a partner — and the door closed.
Nobody owns the Hispanic vote. We just proved it. Again.
This one is easy. Michigan has a large arab population that hasn't consolidated behind any candidate in the past decade. Many didn't vote in 2024 as a protest against Kamala. Before her they weren't motivated to vote for another milquetoast dem. They showed up en masse for AES
Rogers got more votes this election than any Republican candidate running in Congress or even for Governorship for that matter ever did in the state’s history., including for presidential elections in much notoriously have much higher turnouts.
He also got more votes than McCain, Bush, and almost Mitt Romney for that matter.
Yet despite this, and despite the fact that a popular democratic primary candidate who lost by less than 1pt decided to endorse him and campaign with him, and despite the fact that Trump won the state in 2024, he still lost by a substantial margin rendering all his records in raw vote count meaningless.
Because somehow, in a midterm election, Abdul El-Sayed broke even more records by a substantially greater margin. Abdul El-Sayed got more votes today than any senate candidate has ever gotten for bot R or D in state history, for all election types. He got more than both Trump and Hillary in 2016. He got more than Romney and almost reached Obama 2012 numbers and he also blows out almost every Governor candidate in history (both R and D) by insane margins except for Whitmer which he was only just behind, and this is an insane terrorist supporting Muslim for a fucking midterm whose own party defected against him man.
And there are so many states where this happens. So what am I supposed to think?
All the MAGA bots freaking out about the swings in this election almost make me believe the far left people who freaked the fuck out saying Elon rigged the 2024 election for trump in the swing states.
Texas has had the most stringent voter ID laws in the country for a decade. There have been no changes in the system since 2024.
These retards really think the state elections boards RUN BY REPUBLICANS rigged against us.
We need to grow the fuck up
Twitter republicans not understanding the difference between primary and general election electorates is hilarious
Bro the GOP decided to run Paxton, who was impeached by his own party. He’s a generationally bad candidate and scorned Cornyn voters probably flipped.
James Talarico got more 'votes' than any Democrat candidate has EVER gotten in Texas history. He got 500,000 more 'votes' than Kamala Harris got two years ago in a Presidential election year. The demographics of Texas have not changed significantly in two years.
You can talk about gas prices, or Iran, or Trump's personality until the cows come home, this still seems ... odd, to say the least.
Paxton is a generationally bad candidate that has been impeached by his own party. The numbers don’t make sense to you because you’re assuming loyalty from the moderate republicans who loved Cornyn. It looks like the EV numbers included Rs who voted blue to spite him
One thing that was notable about 2020 and 2024 elections was that the overall turnout broke records for our nations history. In 2020 particularly both Trump and Biden broke records for most votes ever cast for a presidential candidate.
What strikes me as odd here is that everybody knows midterm elections get lower turnouts than presidential elections. Yet, despite EV looking good for Paxton, Dems exhausting themselves early, and late polling all hedging or converging to Paxton in the final days, Talarico, who stopped campaigning ended up in a psych ward for two weeks of the last month of lead up, and even pulled tv ads off air at the very end somehow all of a sudden got more votes than Kamala did in 2024 or even Biden did in 2020.
Paxtons raw numbers were actually ahead of what Beto got in 2018 — who was on paper and up until the last minute, a far more competitive candidate than Talarico, and Paxton’s numbers this go of it were not that far behind Cruz’s win either.
By all accounts it seems that he should have won.
I don’t understand how to account for or make sense of these numbers. And statistical phenomenon this insane or even more so happened in multiple deep red states with similar surprise.
Are we really not going to at least think about this for even a moment? Especially for those that think 2020 was rigged?
dude election deniers are quite possibly the most retarded people on this fuckass site. I hate the democrats but if we've learned anything in the past 10 years its that they're incompetent. its hilarious to me these people thing those useless freaks could coordinate this shit
fuck i forgot that the next two years is going to be all the most insufferable people posturing for their 2028 presidential bids
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis:
Some of these Republicans are saying, "Oh, well, the gas, don't worry. It's no big deal." Or they're trying to blame Biden.
No, no. Listen, we've just got to be honest. Gas is higher. It hurts people, working-class people, and it's higher because of the Iran conflict.
That's just the fact. If you can't admit that to voters, then you're gaslighting them, and they're not going to listen to you on other things.

Teaching your daughters to avoid men for their own safety is a thing of the past. It has become far more crucial to teach your sons avoid young women for their own safety.
What we are learning is that a woman is entirely prepared to destroy a man's life simply because she feels like it, or to escape the consequences of her own actions. Young men, beware, and move with caution.

Promiscuity in men is bad for the simple reason that every additional girl you fuck vastly increases your surface area of potentially psychotic vindictive whores that will make suicide bombing your entire life their prime directive

Apparently it’s totally fine to plaster the Cornell 7’s pictures and identities all over the internet while they’re accused of a crime with no evidence or conviction. But the second the alleged “victim’s” name surfaces, THAT’S where we draw the line? LOL. Got it.

I'm not sure I'm built for this new world of discourse centered around whatever women are getting driven into a psychosis about via tiktok and instagram
When you grew up with a mother who claimed she was "raped" when in reality she had been fucking your dads best friend for years, it's hard to take women seriously when they try and pull this shit.
Women lie all the time to maintain social status and reputation.
