🏀 WAVE ONE: 2000’s LEGENDS Really happy to finally share the latest cover I created for NBA The Run: Got Next, with the team at Play by Play. This is actually the fifth cover I’ve had the opportunity to work on for the game, although it’s the first of those recent covers I’m sharing here. For this one, I wanted to give you a closer look at the artwork. At a time when generative AI is rapidly changing the way commercial images are produced, I really appreciate working with a studio like Play by Play, which continues to value artists, drawing and human craft in the creation of its visuals. Technology and tools will keep evolving, but I think there’s still something meaningful about seeing an image being built. Making choices, solving problems, pushing shapes, light, color and character until everything comes together.
