Lovely to play at Bedford School with some ex-colleagues from my old schools trust. Fun evening and a great 8 run win 🏏
Super win for the Trust Men’s Cricket Staff Team tonight v Bedford School Staff by 8 runs. Top effort and cracking teamwork all round. #howzat
My first term as a Head of Year has come to an end in the most fitting of styles... Our celebration assembly, recognising all the fantastic work and achievements of my year 11s across the last few months 🎉
Very proud of my Y11 cohort these past couple of days! Behaviour & attitude to learning was exceptional over 2 strike days where they were the only main year in school. Then the Y11 boys football team secure their only win of their secondary school career! Finishing on a high!
My school @AdeyfieldSchool has just been inspected as Good by ofsted & are increasing capacity across all years and are on the look out for outstanding colleagues to join us as we continue to grow & expand. Let me know if you're interested & want to find out more #edutwitter
Ofsted on my 2nd & 3rd day in the school... Quite the start! It was a fantastic experience to be a part of seeing students & staff being so proud of their school! It made me sure I'd made a great decision to join the team & I am very proud to work in this GOOD school! 🎉
The Adeyfield Academy are celebrating the outcome of their recent Ofsted inspection that has rated the school as ‘good’ in all areas. The full report can be viewed here: adeyfieldschool.org/page/?ti…
First half term at my new school complete! Taking on my first head of year role with year 11 and having ofsted in my first week! It's been a roller-coaster 5 weeks and enjoyed every moment of the challenge so far... Here's to a well deserved half term break!

At the 2022 #ECTConference we ranked highly in the pen rating started by @JoeH_PE.
After 12-months of intensive R&D, we're back for 2023 with a whole new design 😎
We can't wait to hear from ECTs where we stand in the 2023 ratings 😄
Get collecting and let us know! ⤵️
Fantastic 1st day @AdeyfieldSchool with 4 excellent & inspiring speakers @thosethatcan @claireLfarmer @ojukomiller @BehaviourBuddy Key takeaways: 1. Make time for you 2. Foster a truly inclusive learning environment 3. Equity for all via student leaders 4. Teach metacognition 1/2
Today was bitter sweet, my final day @ChallneyBoys thank you so much to all the staff, especially to @DanielC01979224 @MrMayPhysEd @PE_MrWhitehead & @ChallneyPEDept for all the support & laughs! Now for Xmas break before embarking on my next exciting adventure as Head of Year!
Fantastic evening at the festive concert, featuring @ChallneyBoys @Challney_Girls 3 local primary schools, Luton Concert band & a special performance from @DanielC01979224 on his penultimate day as Head. Thank you @nrmusicteacher such talent shown by both staff & students
A school trip started a life time passion for me! Making skiing accessible is key and dry slopes like @GoslingLeisure in Welwyn offer great affordable beginner packages from £16pp for a 1 hour group lesson compared to indoor snow slopes starting from £44pp! #SnowSportsForAll
This week's article to read from the PE team is….
Be Inspired and try something new: How to get into skiing!

Japan setting a great example to all, the fans cleared up the stadium before leaving and their players left changing room spotless and made origami cranes for the stadium staff!
After an historic victory against Germany at the #FIFAWorldCup on Match Day 4, Japan fans cleaned up their rubbish in the stadium, whilst the @jfa_samuraiblue left their changing room at Khalifa International Stadium like this. Spotless.
