A "fictional" Tale of Woe.
Ten years ago a 77 year old lady watched news stories about Illegal Migration and decided that she had a moral obligation to house, clothe, feed some of these people in her country.
Fast forward ten years and rental spaces in her country were at a premium due to the huge influx of foreign nationals. Her rent was too high for her to pay, and she was thrown out onto the streets. She died shortly afterwards.
The above is pure fiction, but I can't help but ask.
How many 87 year old British women are being made homeless due to an inability to pay their rents as the Labour Party, following on from the actions of the Tories, transfers Illegal Migrants from hotels to private-rented housing? And would anyone in the Mother of Parliaments actually care if they were?
