The witch has completed her task of ushering in the European CBDC and no she's poppin' smoke before it goes live. Central bankers are the greatest threat to humanity. Get out of Europe while you still can.
I have just informed my colleagues that I will step down as @ECB President on 7 February 2027. It has been a source of great pride to serve this institution. I thank all of those who have supported me on this journey over the past seven years.

As Klaus Schwab said himself, we will experience a "cyber pandemic" per the agenda 2030 initiative. Problem, reaction, solution....and right on time.
🚨 BREAKING: Hackers are hitting banks in 7 countries at the same time. This is what Covid looked like in week 1. A few countries. Small numbers. Nobody called it a crisis. 1/ South Korea: hackers used a Chinese AI tool to break into at least 7 financial firms. 68,000 people's data stolen. 16 firms breached by mid-October. This week Daishin Securities reported 38,490 customers' data leaked, bank account numbers included. 2/ Latin America: one gang ran AI agents built on Claude, Grok and Kimi against 400+ targets, banks and payment firms included. They stole passwords and got into customer bank accounts. 3/ Italy: a fake WhatsApp from "the CEO" and an AI-cloned voice got Intesa Sanpaolo's private bank to send out €95 million. €36 million is still MISSING, turned into crypto. 4/ India: small lenders lost ₹300 crore (about $31 million) in 2 months. 150 cases. Hackers copied bank logins and sent the money out as fake loans. One firm was hit twice. 5/ Crypto: $351 million drained from Bitget's hot wallets. North Korean hackers are suspected. 6/ Japan: hackers hit GMO Internet's currency trading service and demanded $50 million in crypto. The prime minister promised an emergency anti-cyberattack package. 7/ Australia: the regulator warns AI attacks put more than A$4.5 trillion in retirement savings in the firing line. Government cyber alerts jumped 80% in a year. Now zoom out. AI hacking tools are now easy to get. Smaller firms have weak security. The money moves in minutes. It jumps across banks, through rented accounts, out as cash or crypto. The bosses are often abroad. Covid locked the streets. Nobody is calling this a crisis yet. But the central banks already plan for the day the hackers get in. The G7 agreed to run drills that simulate AI attacks on banks. The ECB reportedly gave eurozone banks 4 months to hand in their defence plans. If your savings sit in a bank, hit follow. I'm tracking where the hackers strike next and how much they take.

When the CEOs of AI companies are calling for Big Daddy Govt to regulate them, you should take notice....and not because they are correct, but because the end goal is total control of their own industry. They dont want you to have access to the best open source LLM models.

Oooo Bernie - America has been at war since the start of the 20th century....what makes Trump different than every other president since? Governments are the most dangerous threat to humanity.
Trump is the most dangerous president in our history. He's an authoritarian who does not believe in the rule of law. This election is not about Ds vs. Rs. It's about whether we maintain a rubber-stamp GOP Congress that aids and abets Trump — or finally hold him accountable.

A brutal year for Bitcoin is just getting started. Give me three minutes to explain why you should dump it now. Outflows from ETFs are signal and will continue. We will test the 57k low again in the next 12 months. Why? Because there are far too many dynamic places to put your money that are creating MUCH more value. Why put your resources into a dead network that offers nothing beyond a store of value? What's the point of place the BTC be if Bitcoin's Ponzi-scheme nature has gone away!?! The viral nature of bitcoin was it's power... if you didn't own you were MOCKED! Now? Completely reasonable, heck, SMARTER, to ignore bitcoin and place other bets! No one is trying to convince people to buy Bitcoin anymore... the memes and NFTs are gone. No one is saying $ BTC can change the world, because it won't — and BECAUSE AI HAS! Just sell and shift from Bitcoin to Super Intelligence because one provides little to no value, and the other provides unlimited upside for humanity. This should be obvious to everyone right now. Bitcoin will never break its all-time high again.

Two more developments since my post on the emerging GLOBAL CONTROL GRID. SpaceX is reportedly negotiating access to 80,000 US cell sites, equivalent to roughly half America’s cell towers. Same day: Musk reportedly invested $1BN in Skydance, the media group now bringing together CNN, CBS, Paramount, HBO and Warner Bros. Both reports still need final confirmation. Now connect the dots. AI. ENERGY. SATELLITES. ROBOTICS. AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES. TELECOMS. SOCIAL MEDIA. TRADITIONAL MEDIA. PAYMENTS. TIC is consolidating across the infrastructure that delivers information, connectivity and intelligence. FIC finances it. MIC increasingly depends on it. The global control grid isn’t just about who controls AI. It’s about who owns the infrastructure through which information and power flow.
THE GLOBAL CONTROL GRID IS BEING BUILT. FOLLOW THE TIC, MIC & FIC. Everyone is talking about SpaceX potentially merging with Tesla. But I think they’re missing the bigger picture. We’re watching the consolidation of the Technical Industrial Complex (TIC) into an increasingly integrated global infrastructure. Consider what a SpaceX and Tesla combination could bring together. AI models and computing infrastructure. Satellite communications through Starlink. Robotics and autonomous vehicles. Energy generation and storage. Space infrastructure and military communications. Now look at China. While Washington restricts China’s access to its most advanced AI chips, Chinese technology giants are reportedly placing enormous orders for export-compliant NVIDIA chips. Meanwhile, Beijing is seeking to protect its own advanced AI technologies while developing its domestic computing infrastructure. China wants access to the American technology ecosystem while building its own sovereign alternatives. At the same time, American AI companies, chipmakers, energy providers and financial institutions are assembling enormous data-centre projects. We’re watching the integration of: AI CHIPS DATA CENTRES ENERGY SATELLITES DIGITAL IDENTITY SURVEILLANCE MILITARY SYSTEMS FINANCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE This is what I mean by the emerging GLOBAL CONTROL GRID. Not necessarily one centralised organisation controlling everything. But increasingly interconnected regional infrastructures capable of shaping how people communicate, transact, identify themselves, access information and interact with governments. Now add the economic layer. As energy costs rise and the cost of capital increases, the economics of this entire ecosystem become even more important. AI infrastructure requires extraordinary amounts of electricity, financing, land, chips and physical infrastructure. Those costs don’t disappear. They flow through the economy. Households and businesses consuming energy face higher bills. Governments and companies borrowing to finance infrastructure face higher debt-servicing costs. Meanwhile, those issuing the loans, owning the infrastructure, refining the energy and selling the energy can capture an increasing share of the economic value. A massive potential wealth transfer from energy consumers and borrowers to energy producers, infrastructure owners and creditors. And much of that infrastructure is increasingly owned or financed through the same global capital markets. Now apply my framework. TIC builds and operates the technological infrastructure. MIC integrates it into military, intelligence and national-security systems. FIC finances the expansion, structures ownership and captures financial returns through debt, equity and infrastructure assets. And as the cost of energy and capital rises, those who control scarce energy supplies and financing can gain even more leverage over those dependent on them. The interesting part is China. Is China building a completely separate system? Or are we watching competing regional control grids emerge, with different governments and corporations but overlapping suppliers, capital markets and technological dependencies? I suspect the latter. A multipolar political world does not necessarily mean a decentralised technological world. And the global control grid isn’t just about surveillance, AI or digital identity. It’s also about who owns the infrastructure, who supplies the energy, who issues the debt and who ultimately pays for it. The flags may be different. The infrastructure may be remarkably similar. And the wealth transfer can continue regardless of which regional power comes out ahead. You need to be building towards the ownership layer rather than the consumption layer, every month starting today.

Facts
PHP2Shell is the biggest security story of the year. PHP runs under the hood of nearly 70% of all websites. AI tools from Wiz, Google, and OpenAI independently found bugs that had been sitting in the code for over a decade, with severity scores as high as 9.2 out of 10. Wiz showed attackers taking over WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla sites without even logging in. The disclosure leaked early on social media, forcing everyone's hand. Cloudflare saw thousands of exploit attempts before the announcement, millions after. Wikimedia took systems offline. The NSA told organizations that can't patch to go dark. The key line from Wiz: "Complexity may no longer provide a meaningful barrier." For decades, software stayed safe because breaking it was too hard. AI erased that moat. 2026 has already produced 21.7% of every CVE ever published, with ten weeks left in the year. Bitcoiners saw this coming. The Coldcard drains, Boltz pausing swaps, the BTCPay emergency this summer. The Bitcoin Red Team spun up AI-assisted reviews across hundreds of repos. Now it's hit the broader web. Watch for the response. This is a perfect setup for calls to lock down the internet: digital ID to get online, permission slips to run models, only approved companies near the frontier. Open-source software and open-weight models are what keep defense from becoming a permissioned activity. Defend them.

They will create the problem, to cause the reaction, to justify the solution, of the end result they desired the entire time. We're watching that happen with AI right now. Support open source and privacy focus tools and you'll be just fine.

CHAMATH SAYS BITCOIN WILL EVENTUALLY BE HACKED AND GO TO ZERO Speaking on the Moonshots podcast, billionaire investor Chamath Palihapitiya warned that advances in AI could eventually break Bitcoin’s cryptography. He argues that the community is too divided to coordinate a transition to quantum-resistant security. “I just think it’s capped, and then I think eventually it gets hacked, and then it goes to zero.”
