Much better from Allegri with a back 3 and showing trust in his bench - 4 changes by the 72’. XG of 2.76. KDB hasn’t looked better in a Napoli shirt. Solid showings from Lang and Badiashille #NapoliFrosinone

Spinazzola ancora in giro e Gutierrez sacrificato. Forza Napoli Sempre. Ci vediamo in gradinata mercoledì sera contro i Gunners. Come sempre ai posti di combattimento. Ci sarà da urlare e sostenere parecchio.

1/10 There is a fine line between a manager making an actual mistake and personal bias against him. Imagine leading 2-1 against Inter in the 80th minute while they deploy three strikers and both your center-backs are exhausted. Bringing on an extra defender is pure common sense.

It’s fair to criticize Allegri for bringing on Badiashile to defend a 1-goal lead, but we should also acknowledge that his plan pushed the reigning champions/far-away favourites to repeat to the very brink #InterNapoli

It obviously sucks that we blew a two-goal lead and came away empty-handed, but that was a much better performance than I imagine most of us were expecting #InterNapoli

This might be the most optimistic season preview I’ve seen and I’m here for it!
1/12 🧵 Napoli under Allegri & the New Season: This season feels different. The team relies more on organic understanding, chemistry, and fluid synergy rather than over-complicated tactics, They are playing with more freedom and genuine enjoyment on the pitch ⤵️

Some people won’t like it, but with the injuries to Buongiorno, Marianucci, and Beukema, there is a quick and cost-effective solution available…

#Napoli

We bought Gutierrez for €18M. 40% of that is amortized, so remaining book value is €10.8M. He played for 6 months and we’re going to sell for €30M, so we book a €19.2M profit. 1/2

Those funds allow us to sign a CB like Gatti, given the Buongiorno injury. With another CB, we can keep Olivera at fullback and maintain the option to play him at CB if required 2/2
