It's been 16-17 years since I embarrassed myself in front of Derek Jeter. All for the Cool Covenant.
All of the WW3 and doomsday prep tweets are clouding my view of the latest Quinn Hughes, Dylan Larkin and Vikings rumors.
Vikings can't trade a 2027 second, 2027 third, 2027 fourth (which they don't have), and a 2028 fifth for Jonathan Taylor. That's too much for a RB seven years into his career. That's the price the Niners paid for McCaffrey in 2022, when he was 26 and barely played in 2020 and 2021 due to injuries. Super fresh, basically.
Sources from the league say the @Colts are looking for a 1st rnd pick for Jonathan Taylor but his value is more in the range of the Christian McCaffrey trade from 2022.

October tornadoes aren't common. @svensundgaard explains why parts of Minnesota could face a tornado threat Wednesday.
This is why Rudy was jacking up threes last night. He knew. He’s ready to lead the league in scoring.
It’ll have to be a collective effort without Ant. No one person can replace him. bringmethesports.com/how-the…

KOC doesn't have to act right now, but the clock is ticking. Carson Wentz or Kirk Cousins have to be considered if Kyler Murray doesn't figure it out.
Kyler Murray's leash can't be longer than two weeks. Either get it going, or start Carson Wentz. Another option: go get Kirk Cousins. bringmethenews.com/minnesota…

Watching Gophers-Iowa offenses makes me want to rewatch Love Is Blind. Give me Stuart and Jax all day over this horrid football.
Unreal how bad MN’s offense is. Skill position players are going to blacklist the Gophers at this rate.
If you’re out for pumpkins this weekend, my recommendation for a small, sweet little spot is Scherer Pumpkin Patch in Medina. The drive with the trees is worth it alone!
60 wins is a lock for these Wolves.
Ant made two shots. Team shot 40%. Still pounding the good defensive Orlando team by double digits at the half.
Depth. Guards and wings. Pace. Dominance. See you in the Finals.
I’m intrigued, but Kyler has completed 37 of his last 44 passes…
Apparently, Jon Gruden isn't a Kyler Murray fan. This is wild! bringmethesports.com/jon-gru…
Hero! We need more players to speak up.
Yaxel Lendeborg says he lost all respect for Luka Doncic from his whining:
“I had a lot of respect for him, you know, just watching. I didn’t really watch the NBA much, I just watch highlights seeing him kill people all the time. But then being in there first hand, just watching all the whining and complaining, I lost all respect man. Like, that was awful. Like me getting frustrated, it’s not about the foul being called. It’s about him complaining the entire game. And then you get the foul called, congratulations bro. And then you talk to me like you did something great bro. Come on. That’s just weak you know. It kinda threw me off for a little while cause like I said, I had a lot of respect for him. Gone, man.”

Safety is interesting as a long-term play, but I believe @alec_lewis made a good point recently about how complex MN's defense is and how that makes it very hard for a safety to come in midseason and perform at their best.
Couple of interesting names dropped by @DanGrazianoESPN and @JFowlerESPN as sleeper trade candidates I’d be interested in, Vita Vea and Jessie Bates III.
On Vea from Graziano… “The Buccaneers are 1-5. Vea is 31 years old, and he and the team begrudgingly came to a compromise agreement on his contract during training camp. The Bucs didn't act as if he was part of their long-term future, and if teams come looking for a big, run-stuffing defensive tackle, Tampa would be silly not to listen.”
Fowler on Bates… “ could a team pry safety Jessie Bates III out of Atlanta? He will be a free agent in 2027, and the Falcons are sitting at 2-4. I doubt Atlanta wants to trade him, but his value would be strong if that changes.”
Shemar Stewart was also mentioned, but he lacks the resume of the other two.
Adding to either line will go a long way for the Vikings this season.
