🚨BREAKING: Prison for SNAP Fraudster
Raul Fernandez Vicioso and his conspirators stole the identities of over 100 people to steal SNAP benefits in multiple states.
They then used the fraudulent SNAP benefits to purchase large quantities of bulk food items, which they sold at a restaurant for 100% profit.
The conspirators then wired the fraud proceeds to individuals living in Venezuela and the Dominican Republic, among other places.
Vicioso was sentenced today to two years imprisonment. He also owes $1.1M in restitution.
@DMAnews1, @OIGUSDA and many other great partners worked together to deliver justice in this case.

Funny how corruption works and when it is stopped how fairness kicks in. There are a lot of people to give credit to, but one of them is @realDonaldTrump If he was not the president, the USAID and counterparts in the IC would still be routinely stealing elections overseas.

With USAID closed and no Biden Admin to give “grants” climate groups need funds desperately. Their CEO’s make millions, and beach house kitchen renovations don’t grow on trees. Litigation is lucrative. Litigation is the goal. Planet Schmanet daddy needs a new G-Wagon.

Scientists are always “astonished.”
Things always seem to be “worse than experts thought.”
In reality, you’re just being told one side of the story.
Glaciers come and go over time. They are not permanent fixtures of this planet.
Switzerland’s iconic glaciers lost an enormous amount of ice in 2026, a new report shows, signaling an ongoing rapid meltdown driven by climate change that has astonished scientists.
About 20 percent of glacial ice in Switzerland has vanished since 2021. wapo.st/4xRgH3t

“Change is happening fast.”
Not really. I personally have not noticed any climate change in my lifetime. Daily, monthly, and seasonal variations are a lot larger than the tiny increase in the annual mean.
Also, what is the correct rate of change? Assign me an exact numerical value and give it in units of °C or °F / decade. Show your math, too.
Thanks.

You have to live under a rock, or be twelve and have not known what things were like, not to realise change is happening fast

2002: Ilhan Omar marries husband one in a mosque. They have two kids in that marriage. They "split" in 2008.
2009: she legally marries husband two in a Christian church. No mosque would do it because apparently the muslim community knew him as her brother.
While married to him, she has her third child with husband one and files joint tax returns with husband one in 2014 and 2015.
A former friend says she told the community she needed papers so her brother could go to school.
2017: she divorces the husband/brother and remarries husband one a month later.
Sounds like fraud to me. #kalshipartner

Forest fires have become larger and more intense in western North America over the last few decades because of decades of forest mismanagement and fire exclusion practices, not because of “man-made climate change.”
Even still, forests burn far less than they did prior to westward expansion.
These so-called “researchers” are not telling the full story and will only be given grant money to tie their findings to “climate change.”
The gravy train needs to be dismantled. Funding for it has not been cut enough.
Researchers across the US are seeing a similar trend — forests that are historically adapted to fire are now often being obliterated by the fast-moving, high temperature wildfires that are becoming increasingly more common with climate change.
These researchers are grappling with what it will mean for our world if the trees that are the centerpiece of these landscapes we love don't recover like they once did. cnn.it/4htUwf5

There is no coherent Christian argument that the death penalty is immoral. God prescribes it for a whole host of crimes in the Old Testament. So if your position is that it is fundamentally evil to execute someone, then you must be saying either that the Old Testament is not the word of God, or that God was morally confused, or that the inherent morality of the action has changed, rendering vast swaths of Scripture irrelevant. None of those positions are compatible with Christianity.
I understand that some Christians try to get around this by claiming that the death penalty was "necessary" a long time ago but isn't necessary anymore. I'm afraid this argument doesn't remotely work. The death penalty is very explicitly prescribed as a matter of JUSTICE in the Bible, not out of "necessity." So, again, either the Bible is just flatly wrong, or God was flatly wrong, or the inherent essence of morality and justice has changed. Basic Christian theology does not leave any of those options open to you.

These people are delusional. We can’t fix our roads without the extra gas tax.
You know…they are in great shape now with the tax in place 🤦🏻
Stop electing idiots CT
CT Republicans want a three month gas tax holiday. What they won't say is why gas hit $4.48: Trump's war with Iran, now in month eight, has driven prices up over 40%. Their plan is to cut money to rebuild our roads but keep the war.
