Gary Naysmith: β€œI’m delighted for the players because we’ve scored three goals at home, which we haven’t done in the league during my reign here. β€œIn terms of being at home, I think today was the first real connection I’ve felt between the team and the fans. β€œThat’s important, but we also know we need to keep getting results, and that connection will get stronger and stronger. β€œThe scenes at the end were something we haven’t seen for a wee while at Somerset Park. Everybody got caught up in it. I got caught up in it, the bench, the substitutes - everybody got caught up in it.”

DYLAN WATRET'S strong start to the season continued with his opening goal in last night's 2-0 win at Lesser Hampden. The 19-year-old capped an impressive display by firing home a first half cross from fellow full back Scott McMann. Watret's early season form saw him narrowly miss out on Tony Docherty's Scotland Under 21s squad this week. But boss Gary Naysmith hailed the youngster for quickly showing he's ready to stay in the mix for national honours. He said: "Scotty's put a good ball into the box and Dylan's finished it well at the back post. "When one full back crosses for another to get on the end of it, that's really nice to see as a coach. "And I'm delighted for Dylan because he was a wee bit disappointed not to be named in the Under 21 squad. And I think he should be disappointed. But there are a couple of good players in his position in front of him just now. "But if he keeps playing how he's started the season he'll eventually get in there - and if he did have any disappointment, he's responded in the right way."

Good numbers of migrants moving through the area around Pinoso now. One stop at some small bushes produced 10 Western Subalpine Warblers - which I managed one photo! Such skulkers. #birds #birdphotography #birding #naturephotography #Alicante
