La Liga summed up in a 5 second video.
First one gets sent off and concedes a penalty.
Second one gets no card and concedes no penalty, the referee simply plays on. In the VAR era. nitter.cf/fedevalv_/status/21017…

Minute 35 at 0-0, Romero commits one of the nastiest and most dangerous challenges you'll see this season yet no red card was given despite a VAR review.

@marca

If I were Rodri and Pérez came back after changing his mind, I'd reject him immediately. You had your chance.
This is Perez's biggest flaw. He waits until something becomes undeniable instead of acting before everyone else. Anyone with eyes knew Rodri was a world-class signing

They're not worried about performances. About standards. About the state of the team. What worries these fucks the most is whistles (aka accountability). What a downfall

The last problem Real Madrid currently have is the coach. The absolute last problem. But as Jesus said to Martha: "Martha, Martha, you are worried and distracted by many things. Only one thing is necessary."

As I said, Real Madrid has become a club with no direction. A club that feels rotten from top to bottom. A club that is lost, more focused on patching symptoms than actually fixing the roots of its problems. A club too scared to take the courageous steps that need to be taken

No red card given to Yan Couto for this extremely reckless challenge on Fran Garcia.

Clear studs challenge on Gonzalo Garcia's knee by the Dortmund player. A textbook red card, ignored by VAR and the referee.

Barca wins 3 points thanks to a guy who shouldn't have been registered according to the league and federation rules.
Barcelona, ladies and gentlemen. Always above all rules and regulations.

First La Liga away game back with Vini and we lose. It's not because he plays bad, but for some reason these La Liga away games in specific always feel more difficult with him. The team becomes more selfish, and the tension on the pitch rises

Barca indirectly robbed a team today. Their title rivals, Real Madrid, had 4 massive calls go against them: 2 clear red cards and 2 penalties ignored. Even when you're not playing against Barca, they still find a way to rob you.
Below is a thread of the shocking decisions:

Yamal with a generational dive, referee still awards the penalty. Barca scores, making it 4-3 against Benfica and keeping the comeback alive. VAR as usual remains asleep when the Catalans are in action nitter.cf/uqxczqc566john/status/…
