Anyone ever had their rent fall? Fucking clown 🤡
Then maybe govts should be cutting unnecessary costs for landlords by making their regulations and tax similar to other business so rents will start to fall? Again which takes us back to the start of this thread

No jails. No taxes. No greedy politicians. No environmental destruction. No police. No hunger. No homelessness. And they had the nerve to call us “godless savages.”

Get off social media for a bit mate 👍
I’m tired. I’m angry. And honestly, I’m heartbroken by what this country has become. I’m tired of watching ordinary people struggle to survive while the wealthy accumulate more than they could spend in a thousand lifetimes. I’m tired of wars fought for the ambitions of powerful men while ordinary people are sent to die. I’m tired of a system that demands we spend our entire lives working just to afford the privilege of existing. Everything feels so unnecessarily cruel. We have the resources, the knowledge, and the ability to build a world where people can actually live, not just survive. And yet here we are. I don’t want to spend my life angry and afraid of the future. I want a better country. A better world. One where human lives matter more than power, profit, and greed. Why is that so much to ask?

Someone tell this chap about 2008 🤑
You want successful people to bail out the country against their will. Aka give handouts. But they get the same services, you want to agree the same service should cost the same in everything except taxes? Weird.

Hi David @DavidTaylor85 You really should be careful about using your position to come after me, because once you do that, people are entitled to look at your own record. You've gone after the BBC over my appearance and questioned why I was given a platform. Let's look at your record. •You backed the proscription of Palestine Action. •You went after Francesca Albanese and opposed the renewal of her UN mandate. •You've defended Labour Friends of Israel and pushed back against scrutiny of pro-Israel influence in Parliament. •You've attacked the Green Party and Zack Polanski over their position on Palestine and Zionism. •You even opposed parliamentary wording referring to "accusations of genocide" in relation to Israel. And you've described Israel as a "lone beacon of democracy, freedom of speech and rule of law" in the region, while it disregards international law, refuses to work with Palestinian Arabs and kills journalists. So forgive me if I'm not going to take lectures from you about who should or shouldn't be given a platform. You have a very clear political position on Israel and Palestine. That's your right. But when you then use your position as an MP to put pressure on the BBC because I was given a platform, people are entitled to ask whether this is really about "standards" or whether it's about the fact that you don't like what people like me say. And if you want to abuse your political power to scrutinise me, I'm going to scrutinise you right back. Hemel Hempstead should know who you REALLY are. Is the kind of MP they want representing them.
It’s encouraging that the BBC has admitted they were wrong to invite Bushra Shaikh onto one of their programmes. But given her well-documented views in support of the Iranian regime, it’s still incredibly alarming she was invited. Thank you @Telegraph for covering my letter.

Market rises, resulting in rent increases and wealth for owners: 'nothing we can do that's just capitalism' Market flat: 'what is the government going to do about our investment?' Every. Time.

having employees who’ve worked for you for ‘years’ and still paying them minimum wage is embarrassing enough, but going on tv to whinge about having to pay them more is genuinely shameless. espesh when you’ve made enough profit from ur stupid pie shop to buy SIX rental properties

Yes. Bad investments should be void of tax help. The tax payers isn't here to bail out your bad decisions. The end.
Replying to @JohnLewisEU
So bad investment decisions should be void of tax help. Shouldn’t good investment decisions also be void of tax then?

If people need 28k to live, but only earn 22k, the government will have to offer the 6k to cover the difference, how do you not see this? Or do you just want people to be quiet and live in poverty so that business owners can get a nice new car?
