leo wanna leave barca and joined mancity w pep in 2020, he studied english for a year and half. ha can leave for free by June 10. but bc of covid, the season ended after June 10, so barca argued that if messi wanted to leave, he’d have to pay the €700 million release clause. mancity’s lawyers told messi they were confident he could win the case, but messi didn’t want to take barca to court, so he ended up staying.
