I don’t Twitter or what ever this is called anymore. I came back here just to tell all of you what a fuck awful experience I had and continue to have with @bookingcom . What should be a simple refund due to software error and possibly my impatience is going on 13 days
I just tried to 3 way call both places again. @bookingcom disconnected. This happens far too often for be to believe it’s an unintentional glitch. There is no resolution at this point. I’m currently doing chemo/rads and need this refund to fund my necessities during this time.
So if you working for @bookingcom and can help please reach out. If you don’t. Please RT this so people see it.
Earlier this room I booked some time at a hotel in Boston using @bookingcom . The first time I attempted this I received no confirmation via email or through the site that it was booked. I checked my email. Waited about 20 minutes and still nothing.
It did not. So on the 12th I called @bookingcom and was told that it was ”just a hold on funds” and would fall off. It was not. It had already cleared my account. On the 13th I called again and was told that a refund request had been submitted and it would take 2-5 business days.
