People protesting Brand's innocence are the very types who prevent victims of rape and sexual assaults from coming forward. Well fuck you. I didn't live in the era of deference to celebrity. I saw the Savile scandal unveiled in my teens and I would report it straight away.

I stand with Russell Brand. This was clearly a well-orchestrated witch-hunt against him. The allegations were from decades ago, and a relentless media campaign ensured that Brand was publicly judged long before the courtroom proceedings had concluded.
