Gratified to find this idea out there in the wild. But I believe i was the first to publish on this. Article now had over 5000 views and downloads . . . the beauty of open access. link below.
Replying to @JoshuaPenduck
I'm sure I'm not the only person to think this, but it seems obvious to me that the Transfiguration was a simultaneous timeslip back to Moses meeting God in the cloud on Sinai and Elijah meeting God on Carmel; all three are one and the same moment in the aevum

the only think i don't love about this statement is that i didn't write it first.
The latest issue of Vetus Testamentum features a statement from the editors: "We reject with prejudice the usage of GenAI for brainstorming, structuring, and composing studies of the biblical text and its historical and social contexts."

i've never come across this journal before. how do we rate it?

My plan was to rework one last article idea from my 2010 masters thesis and then put the thesis up on a free repository for anyone to read. Now that I am halfway through reworking it . . .

. . . I have spotted enough terrible mistakes to realise I never want this abomination to be read by another human. Notably they are all in my final chapter which I wrote in what seemed to me at the time to be the white heat of inspiration . . .

. . . but now I know it was just hubris and mild hysteria. question is, will I feel the same way about the work i am doing now in 16 years time? Eeek, that's a demotivating thought.
