Amblyomma americanum, also known as the lone star tick, or the turkey tick. This was found just outside of Augusta in the town of Windsor. Lone star ticks seem to be spreading quickly through out Maine. They can cause a red meat allergy. @VectorCollector @TickReport @thetickguy
