My @julithcoffee order has arrived! Some amazing anaerobic’s and experimental beans are here ready to prep and build recipes… Also a sugarcane processed decaf for late night coffee. #coffee ☕️

It’s coffee o’clock in Abu Dhabi! Cranking out some great espresso for an afternoon cortado on the @weberworkshops EG-1 and the @decentespresso DE1PRO. The Baboon Phuket beans are great too. I’ve just popped an order in for @julithcoffee so hope they’re here soon!

Today in #SriLanka… Grab some fresh fruit at a local store, a tuk ride to surf school, cocktails at the beach after then past the fisherman selling their catch in our village. Sri Lanka and its south coast life is a vibrant, community led one. “island time” is alive here.

Loving the mee kiri, (Sri Lankan curd), traditionally made from buffalo milk. Its naturally fermented, with old curd added to milk that’s boiled for two hours, then cooled. Add some Sri Lankan treacle, (kithul peni) made from the toddy palm, and it’s incredible for breakfast!

Good morning from Wijaya Beach, Sri Lanka.. This morning we ran into some sea turtles. So friendly and wanting a swim partner along the lagoon🐢🏝️🌊 Can recommend this beach and the aptly named frog rock at the end. They have a wood fired oven and incredible pizzas here too!

Good morning from Sri Lanka… Golden hour just hits different here… 🇱🇰🏝️🌅 From the calm estuary for the fisherman with the quiet sputter of their 5HP engines to the booming ocean front… everything is bathed in a wonderful light here.

A lovely morning on the south coast of Sri Lanka. 15 minute commute to the surf school, grab a tuk and enjoy the ride! Sun showers, commuters, the ever-packed Galle bus terminal and the beach. 🌊🏝️🇱🇰🏄🏼

Morning walk in the southern provinces in Sri Lanka…. The sky is a wash of pastels and gold. “Jake” the sea doggo (fourth pic) joined me for my stroll. Time for a surf further down the coast. Perhaps a nice coffee after. 🏝️🇱🇰🏄 #travel #srilanka

It’s time for a quick dip in the villa pool. The afternoons here in #srilanka are quite sweltering until the late-day storms provide relief. Nothing an ice-cold beer can’t solve however. Planning to get a tuck to a seafood place on the beach tonight.
