Mahomes is maybe the best at exploiting the sideline protection QBs get. Maybe the smartest QB in the game. Definitely don’t like that a defender gets a 15-yard penalty because he hit a QB with a toe out of bounds, so I’ll continue to love moments when Mahomes benefits from it🤷🏽‍♂️

Make a 2-foot “free hit area” just inside the playing area. Paint it red. Defender hits the QB in that area, no flag. Hits him out of that area, Flag. Make QBs make their business decisions earlier.
