UPDATE: looks like Binance completely paused user withdrawals. Originally thought it was just USDT Been trying to help some of my team members and no matter what asset we try to withdraw it’s getting blocked. Let’s hope CZ was honest when he said funds are SAFU 🤞

Total on the hack is at least $5.57B across 3 chains (likely more) Tether has started freezing and this time even Circle acted and managed to freeze 800M in a single wallet. Total frozen: $1.8B Still $800M could be frozen, attacker is moving funds fast

User funds are safe! It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m). I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.
