Back from an amazing week at #ISME20 in Auckland, the world’s largest conference dedicated to microbial ecology! 🇳🇿 I had the opportunity to present my work supported by @CNPq: “Mobilome of tropical soda lakes” - a pioneering project I’m very proud to be developing at CENA-USP.

Catalog of more than 1,000 MAGs from Red Sea hydrothermal vents! This is the first paper from an ongoing collaboration between KAUST, JGI and CENA-USP; bringing together expertise in microbial genomics, extremophiles, and biotechnology. Check it out here: journals.asm.org/eprint/MFSN…
