Defense is the foundation of what Mansfield Summit is building!
Mansfield Summit boys basketball head coach Emund Prichett joined us at RevoStudios for Coaches Corner to discuss his vision for establishing a defensive identity built on effort, discipline, and accountability.
For Prichett, becoming a great defensive team starts with every player on the floor buying into the same standard. He believes his roster has the potential to become a dominant defensive unit, but reaching that level will require consistent work from both the coaching staff and players.

Championships come and go, but the standard never changes.
Mansfield Summit boys basketball head coach Emund Prichett joined us at RevoStudios for Coaches Corner to discuss the foundation of the Jaguars’ program and what it takes to build sustained success.
Coach Prichett emphasized that talent may fluctuate from year to year, but the expectations surrounding hard work, character and accountability must remain consistent.
Reflecting on last season, Prichett believes the Jaguars demonstrated exactly what their program stands for, proving that success is about more than championships. It’s about building a culture that lasts.

Two state championships, but the greatest reward goes beyond the trophies.
Mansfield Summit High School boys basketball head coach Emund Prichett joined us at RevoStudios for Coaches Corner to reflect on the players who helped build the Jaguars into a championship program and the pride he takes in watching them succeed beyond high school.
With former players continuing their basketball careers overseas in Lithuania, France and Switzerland, Coach Prichett is seeing the impact of his program extend well beyond the hardwood. One former Jaguar recently dropped 43 points in Lithuania, another reminder of the talent that has come through Summit.
What makes those stories even more meaningful is that several of those players never had the opportunity to win a state championship themselves. Instead, they helped lay the foundation for the back-to-back titles that followed, and their connection to the program remains strong.
For Pritchett, it’s about more than championship banners. It’s about the players, the relationships and the basketball family that continues to grow at Mansfield Summit.

Bardere plays with an attacking mindset from the guard spot, looking to create opportunities and put pressure on the defense. His time at GASO provided another stage to compete and showcase his game against talent from across the state.
As his senior season approaches, Bardere is looking to build on that foundation and become an important piece for Mansfield Summit.
