.@JakeAsman asked Rex Ryan what is something from his time with the #Jets that he thinks about:
"The fans, No. 1. Even to this day like I'm their coach. Like, oh my God, that's awesome. 🥹 I told the team in the spring, 'I came out here, I'm wearing Jets stuff, whatever, because I'm a New York Jet. Why? Because I gave every damn thing I had. So did @RealTannenbaum.
We gave every damn thing we had & you know what? At the end of the day, if it's not good enough & they tell you to leave, you can sit back & say I gave every damn thing I had & I'm still a damn New York Jet. Those fans, they look at me as I'm a New York Jet & always will be, & that's something I take a lot of pride in."

"Aye Larry, you ain't hit a shot since 84!"
Jamaal Mashburn tells about the time college star Rodney Rogers talked slick to Larry Bird, only for Magic Johnson to hear it. When they played again, Magic fed Bird over and over so he could make Rogers eat every word. Even with a bad back, Larry Bird was a monster. Greatest Small Forward of all time.

HELL OF A STORY:
The incredible story of how #Broncos Hall of Fame RB Terrell Davis nearly QUIT football before becoming one of the greatest running backs in #NFL history.
Davis was a sixth-round pick in 1995 and barely received any playing time during preseason.
While in Tokyo, he was so frustrated that he considered booking a flight home.
After eating a bunch of hot dogs on the sidelines, Davis was suddenly called into the game on special teams.
He delivered a MONSTER HIT on a kickoff returner that caught the attention of head coach Mike Shanahan.
Davis eventually earned the starting job, won TWO Super Bowls, became NFL MVP, rushed for over 2,000 yards in a season, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
ALL BECAUSE OF ONE HIT.
One of the greatest underdog stories in NFL history.
