This might sound paradoxical but either I am the chosen one or I am not, but even if I am not somehow I still am. 😮
In the Art of War it’s quoted “Let your plans be dark and impenetrable as night, and when you move, fall like a thunderbolt.”
I believe that in today’s age, building in silence is a bit of a strange form of psychological torture. I write this because, When your goal is months away, victory isn't written out loud; it’s written in a quiet, unglamorous daily routine.
There is no external validation, no applause, and no audience for the invisible work. You just sit with the routine, keep your head down, and trust the compounding process.

Leaders after nine months in the stock division. This year has been extremely difficult. Standings will also appear on our new USIC Facebook page and on LinkedIn. Entries for the 2027 competition are now being accepted at Financial-competitions.com.
$JOBY is down 50%+ from its highs, but this isn’t just a story of cash burn. It’s a story that intersects with political cycle derisking, along with where we sit in terms of monetary policy.
If you want to understand early-stage tech, you have to look past the ticker.
My breakdown 🧵👇
7/ Stabilizing Cash Burn
Joby burned ~$700M+ in FCF over the last year. To avoid endless share dilution, early revenue has to step up.
To survive until their air taxis go fully public, they need to make money right now to help pay their bills. They can do this in two ways:
1: Flying helicopters for high-end travelers (Blade Acquisition): Joby bought the passenger division of Blade (an app people use to book helicopter rides in cities like NYC and Miami). This brings in over $100 million a year in real ticket sales while letting Joby test routes and apps with real passengers.
2: Military Contracts: $JOBY delivers electric aircraft and flight data to the U.S. Military for testing, which pays them up to $163 million.
Bringing in money today keeps Joby from running out of cash or having to print new stock shares (which lowers the value of existing shares for current investors).
8/ The Reality
$JOBY’s future ultimately comes down to this.
Can they reach commercial scale before their cash runs out?
If the right cocktail ingredients take place it can have a massive recipe for success, but if not, this one will not survive and be just another short story on Wall Street.

One of my favorite things to do is make a list of tasks to do on a pink post-it note (yes, it has to be pink) and then crossing off those task once they are completed. 🙏🙏🙏
GTA 6 definitely needs to include the new Tesla roadster. @RockstarGames
We know vampires don’t exist because if they did @bryan_johnson would have been one by now.
