No way - we can not increase more taxes on Md drivers when already over half of the astronomical car registration and gas tax dollars we pay goes to mass transit - which is recovering less than 10% of its cost with fares. Marylanders are tapped out - no vehicle miles traveled tax, no more new car-related taxes - need to roll them back and transit needs to pay more for itself.

How come @iamwesmoore won’t allow Maryland families to opt into the federal tax credit so everyone can make the choices that are best for their children

Meanwhile nationally real GDP is up 3.4%, consumer spending up 4% when adjusted for inflation the last 6 months - inflation at 2.2%...and businesses investing at 21% in Q3. Not getting reported extensively, why? Also, this private sector investment is bypassing Maryland in a lot of ways...why?

Question 3 moves us backwards. It would give partisan mapmakers more freedom to divide our communities, combine distant areas, and manipulate district boundaries to produce the election results they want.
In short, it lets politicians pick their voters, rather than citizens picking their representatives.
I’ve long been opposed to gerrymandering, wherever it was happening and whoever was doing it. Thankfully, this time, the people of Maryland have the chance to make their voices heard.
Politicians should not be rewarded with the power to erase the constitutional requirements they violated.
And we shouldn’t take Maryland back to the days when our congressional maps were held up as some of the worst, most gerrymandered in America.
If politicians won’t do the right thing, Maryland voters should do it for them. Vote against Question 3. baltimoresun.com/2026/10/29/…
As always - the government spending always keeps going even if there’s nothing happening you can see. Or no matter how unfeasible financially the project is.
Three years after Maryland Gov. Wes Moore promised to resurrect Baltimore’s Red Line, the project remains stuck in a planning stage with little progress.
There are no trains, no construction and no firm opening date, despite Moore previously announcing construction would begin in 2026 or 2027.
There is, however, a growing tab for taxpayers. bit.ly/3V0OgTr
How much of our ratepayer and taxpayer money do we have to spend to "make energy affordable"? Just cut out all the extra taxes/drop out of RGGI - and you'd save people significant monthly dollars right there.
🚨 WES MOORE ANNOUNCES $200 MILLION ENERGY PROGRAM — BUT ELECTRIC BILLS WON’T DROP ANYTIME SOON
Maryland families are struggling with soaring electricity costs, and Gov. Wes Moore’s latest answer is another $200 million government program that his own energy officials acknowledge won’t provide immediate relief.
The October 26 announcement launches “Megawatts for Maryland,” offering taxpayer-supported grants to renewable energy and battery storage developers.
▪️ $200 MILLION: The program authorizes up to $100 million annually for two years through Maryland’s Strategic Energy Investment Fund.
▪️ NO IMMEDIATE RELIEF: Maryland Energy Administration Director Kelly Speakes-Backman acknowledged the program won’t lower bills tomorrow. Developers could take up to seven years to bring qualifying projects online.
▪️ DEVELOPER SUBSIDIES: The money is intended for renewable generation and battery storage projects, not direct reductions in residential electric bills. Grants are payable after projects begin commercial operations.
▪️ REPUBLICAN PUSHBACK: Senate Minority Leader Steve Hershey criticized the initiative as another expensive government program funded through costs ultimately borne by electricity customers. He called for lower rates and more reliable in-state generation instead.
▪️ THE REAL TEST: State officials estimate the program could eventually add several hundred megawatts of capacity, but no specific household savings have been established.
Marylanders need affordable, reliable electricity now. Moore is offering a long-term investment without a guaranteed reduction in anyone’s monthly bill.
How much more must Maryland families pay while Annapolis promises that its next $200 million program will eventually make electricity affordable?

My jaw actually dropped
NEW UNDERCOVER INVESTIGATION: I spent several months investigating a nationwide network of advocacy organizations and medical providers helping families continue medically transitioning their children in defiance of state laws.
My investigation centers on Campaign for Southern Equality (CSE), an LGBT advocacy nonprofit that connects families with cooperating medical providers across the country. CSE has distributed over $1 million in travel grants to more than 1,200 families, plus another $1 million to partner organizations, including funding for medical appointments.
With CSE's knowledge, providers in its referral network told me the ways that they circumvent state restrictions on gender-transition treatments for minors.
Some discussed using alternative diagnosis codes, such as “endocrine disorder,” to facilitate prescriptions or insurance coverage. Others described mailing medications directly to families' homes or sending prescriptions to pharmacies in states where these interventions are banned.
Providers also discussed conducting virtual appointments with patients in those states. Others required patients to cross state lines for telehealth but did not appear to have a reliable method for verifying their physical location.
My primary undercover scenario involved an 11-year-old girl in Tennessee who had only recently begun identifying as nonbinary, with no long history of gender-related distress. The providers I shared this scenario with seemed eager to treat her. Many indicated that puberty blockers could be prescribed after an initial evaluation lasting just one to several hours.
My investigation uncovered practices that may violate state and federal laws and pose medical risks to children living hundreds or thousands of miles from their treating physicians.

Hollywood ads. Annapolis power grab.
Your rights on the line.
Vote AGAINST question 3.
Frustrated by higher energy bills? Seen this latest video from Governor Moore trying desperately to blame someone besides himself and the Maryland Democratic supermajority in Annapolis? Get the facts and vote for real energy relief - vote for Maryland Republicans - these higher energy bills are almost entirely a result of bad state policies that we will reverse.
It’s not price gouging. It’s largely government policy-inflicted. Forcing power companies to buy more expensive forms of energy or pay taxes that they pass on to you, having dozens of power plants close with no replacement due to hatred of reliable, affordable sources of energy, outdated programs like EmPower and Sunshine Tax that you pay for monthly on your bill….it goes on and on. 1/2
We just voted early this afternoon at Westminster Senior Center - polls are open from 7:00 AM-8:00 PM today through Thursday, October 29th. Make your voice heard and lock in your vote to turn Maryland around - please know it is so important. In addition to the Republican team up and down the ballot, please vote Friday, Herbert & Hinkhaus for Board of Education and don’t forget to vote AGAINST Question 3!
Early voting has begun in Maryland - here’s what’s at stake - every state and almost every county office is on the ballot - we desperately need more balance in Maryland General Assembly - and vote AGAINST Question 3 too. #mdpolitics #Dist5 #CarrollCountyMD #FrederickCountyMD
