343 Industries/Halo Studios tenure with the franchise was a total disaster. I don't know if Halo is gonna be any good under Activision (lol) but I know it was never gonna be good under Halo Studios.

At Rocksteady, we stylized almost all face proportions a little btw, were very careful to keep the camera lens higher than 50mm, and tried not to film Harley from a lower unflattering angle. The lighting artist was also a genius at adjusting feathered edge lighting to reduce harshness on her face. The minute you scan a head in and leave it untouched, it just looks weird as hell in a videogame that also has stlightly stylized bodies, clothing, and environments. We spend a lot of time critiquing Game Design, we should also be able to Critique Art Direction of a game handles heads. Also - this was Unreal 4.
