Expected more from the Budget.
Surprised the Personal Allowance wasn't increased and Capital Gains rates were untouched.
Not to say there were no positives but it was slightly underwhelming.
Was it a 'holding Budget' before going big in Budget before the next General Election?
We can concentrate on yoyoing in the league.

Instant Budget thoughts
-£100 direct energy payments the big political move. Something for Lab MPs to take home.
-Transfer of £20bn to Nat Wealth Fund and BBB a biggish deal. Might expect more of this trick to come to get around fiscal rules.
-Most of the big spending decisions, principally on defence deferred.
-This is a government with narrowing space and this budget sums that up. Politically it wants to do things it can't do because it has no mandate to implement Burnham proposals. Economically, it hasn't the space to spend or borrow more. Consequently it's left with micro-measures.
-Because of above, feels to me fresh democratic energy of an early elex becoming likelier if polls hold.

Cunt (typo) is often lauded as some sort of moderate but he's as cruel and nasty as the rest of them when it comes to benefits.

Sufferers need support in the form of treatment AND the safety net of benefits, where necessary.
