He's not only describing Reform but Labour, Burnham, Restore and Lowe. Tories are no better. We need to shake up Westminster.
I wonder what would happen if every UK voter refused to vote as a form of protest.
Alastair Campbell - They can sit there โฆ the people who gave us Brexit and now they want to give you another set of false promises.
Don not fall for them because they are a bunch of conmen, they are being found out & one reason why Nigel Farage will never be PM.

We are still struggling daily to provide food for my children and medicine and painkillers for my injury. Please help me via the link.

For a Labour Chancellor to declare during a Scrooge Budget in which a painful year is promised to his own people that he had โmade the dayโ of a foreign leader by handing him an EXTRA ยฃ10 Billion desperately needed at home is such a cognitive dissonance as to be scarcely believable. That NOBODY in the House protested renders it a rubber-stamp assembly of a kind simply unrecognisable to a long-standing parliamentarian like me.

What I have just witnessed in the children's inpatient wards at hospitals is beyond words. No human being could bear to witness it or even imagine the scale of the catastrophe patients are living through there.
Patients are being denied their most basic rights to medical treatment! There are not enough medications, no medical services, no electricity, and none of the basic necessities a human being needs to stay alive.
There are not enough beds for patients. Three patients are forced to share a single bed because of the overwhelming number of medical cases. Some patients cannot even find a place to lie down and are left sitting on the floor and in the corridors, amid the terrifying spread of viruses and diseases, including meningitis and others.
What is even more painful and horrifying is that most medical equipment is completely out of order! Oxygen monitors are not working, heart rate monitors and other essential medical devices have stopped functioning entirely, as if patients' lives no longer deserve even the most basic means of care and life-saving treatment.
Patients are left relying on first aid alone, with no adequate resources to diagnose the diseases and viruses ravaging their bodies, determine what they are suffering from, or even provide them with appropriate treatment.
This is not merely a deterioration in healthcare services; it is the complete collapse of Gaza's healthcare system, where patients' lives are left hanging in the balance between pain, fear, and death at every moment.
Please, I beg youุ Do not remain silent in the face of this suffering! Speak out, spread the word, and share our voices with the world. Your words could help save a human life!

They need them for the flock cameras. Which they need because they defunded the police.
Pretty sure it was the plan the entire time. It's really all about budgeting. Instead of paying a police force to respond to emergencies & issue random tickets. They just have the cameras catch every minor traffic infraction and mail the ticket. Less overhead more reliable revenue generation.
IDK just a theory, but makes more sense than any of the BS being pushed by either side IMO ๐คท

Bryn, some of us (I take it this includes you) were trying to push Labour in the right direction for 40 years. It got us Blair and Starmer, and now a man whose idea of socialist politics is removing tax from gherkins. It really, really is time to learn from that.

I think in many seats youโll have to vote Labour to defeat Farage. Thatโs why the Labour Left is so important - we want to push Labour in the right direction.

So defending Labour then...unhappy that Plaid taking credit for Labour's budget...that's defending Labour! @Nigel_Farage
We havenโt defended Labour in the slightest. All I and @CristianaEmsley have done is point out Plaid taking credit for a Westminster initiative.

Oh, I see Jeremy Vine has been inviting people to demonise benefit claimants again. I tell you what, you can come back to me when there are a lot of jobs for all the people who are unable to work to find employment that they can live on. We also need to address the fact that millions of people are not actually unemployed, they just don't get paid a wage for the vital work that they do. I am of course referring to unpaid care is who save the economy billions of pounds a year.
Also we have the people they are looking after, many of whom are likely to need either round-the-clock support, or can't be left alone for more than a few hours at a time.
Now, I am fully in favour of paying carers a wage for the work that they do, but this doesn't happen because it's presumed that family members should just do it out of love without complaint. Many people, including my parents do indeed do this, but there are people who are simply a breaking point, both financially and emotionally.
And before people mention the fact that some carers can go to work and there is scope for them to do so, particularly after the amended Carers Allowance rules come into effect, it's vital to note that many can't work, because they spend ALL their time caring.
For example, I can only be left alone in the house for about three hours maximum at a time, and it's absolutely not safe to leave me home at a time when I would normally be in bed (if there was an emergency, such as a fire, there is no way I would be able to escape if I wasn't in my chair at the time)
But yeah, the media will probably go along with their simplistic rhetoric because that is so much easier than actually addressing the real issues.
