I’m not sure how many this message will reach… However. For a lot of men, younger or older, this will be the last weekend you play professional football.
I just pray that you find peace in that. You are more than the logo on your jersey and the plays you make within those white lines.
It’s difficult to grasp and I know ball has been your love for a LONG time but if this is it, transition with purpose and find your passion in whatever it may be and always look back at your body of work and be proud of yourself because we are ALL proud of you. Make the RIGHT decisions and be YOURSELF. Don’t let anybody or sport define you. Don’t let lifestyles consume you and take care of your mental! Go make a difference and be a light to the next man, woman, boy, or girl. There’s much more to life after that final whistle blows! Love 🤞🏾
Kobe Bryant reveals exactly why so many athletes go broke a few years after retirement
"Once you retire you don't have that source of income coming in. Even if you save over a 15-year career, if your spending habits remain the same, eventually that well is going to run dry"
"For us athletes the retirement age is 32, 34, if you're lucky 37 like myself. What comes next?"
"The question needs to be, what is my passion. Not where I can create the most value or generate the most revenue, but what is my next passion"
"When you find that next passion, then everything else will make sense"
"But that's the hardest part for us"
"We have to constantly learn. Our mantra is value growth, because to grow you have to constantly learn, constantly move, constantly improve"
NIL $ is cool. Transferring is a part of the game. Agents are great
But work on your craft. Listen to experienced people. Get away from yes men & women. Take care of your body.
Or college is going to be your stop sign and for a lot of talented athletes, it doesn’t have to be

What an incredible series for the Chiefs defense. Huge play by Fulton. Deserves a ton of credit there with Nick Bolton!
