Umuoba-Anam/Aguleri Crisis: Passionate Appeal for Peace.
I am deeply pained by the reports of hostilities between the good people of Umuoba-Anam and Aguleri in Anambra East LGA of Anambra State.
Hostilities of the kind we are witnessing between the two communities achieve nothing but destruction. At a time when people are already finding it increasingly difficult to survive, adding the devastation of conflict is like adding fuel to the fire.
I appeal to both communities to immediately cease hostilities and embrace peace. No grievance, however serious, is worth the loss of lives, the destruction of homes and livelihoods, or the pain inflicted on families.
Let us choose dialogue over violence, reconciliation over revenge, and peace over destruction. There is always a better way to resolve our differences.
May God grant wisdom to our leaders and peace to Umuoba-Anam and Aguleri.

@zerufinance is trying something different with Zaps.
The wallets that have actually been trading, adding liquidity or using an ecosystem earn the right to bring new supply to market. Anything that does not sell gets burned, instead of being handed out for free and dumped later.
Pump lets a creator open a market, and Virtuals lets an agent do it. Zaps wants a whole chain or app to be able to do the same thing, based on who has really been active there.
It is still early, but it is the first version of this I have seen that starts from what people already did.

We've seen this story before.
A new NFT collection gets attention, people rush in, trading picks up, prices climb, and for a while it looks like nothing can go wrong.
Then the attention moves somewhere else.
That's where a lot of NFT projects fall apart. If there isn't something people actually use or a business behind the project that keeps generating activity, there isn't much left to support the value.
That's why I'm looking at what @0xhazels is trying to build beyond the NFT itself.
The NFT is supposed to be part of the system, not the entire product.
Hazels is building around NFT ownership while adding things like the Attention Layer, Drops and other utilities. The bigger piece is SI, its Super Intelligence layer.
The idea is to build systems that can handle things like autonomous decisions, coordinate different agents and carry out tasks without needing someone to manually control every step.
And the long-term goal is an Agentic Operating System that can be useful to actual businesses and generate real economic activity.
That's a much harder thing to build than another collection of cute NFTs.
But if it works, the NFT becomes more than something you bought and put in a wallet.
It becomes your entry point into a system that actually has things happening around it.
