Imagine this: you’re shopping for the same items as the person next to you, but you’re paying more. It’s called surveillance pricing – where big corporations charge all of us different prices for the same shopping cart based on a profile they create of you using AI.
This is just one way AI is changing our world, which is why I’m calling on the Senate Commerce Committee to hold a hearing on AI and pass responsible guardrails to crack down on abusive practices like this one.
